First experience with a Honda but won't be the last. Have owned American cars for the past few years but the Honda is far better in build quality, handling and resale. Love the acceleration of the V-6.

After test driving many cars I couldn't get over the solid feel of the Accord, I was very impressed with the smooth powerful performance of the V-6, the choice of materials for the interior are top notch for anything in the price range.I only have 4k mile so far but have been very pleased. The dealer treated me very well,I went in with some fair numbers and there was no usual games.

My family usually purchases American made cars but these have had some reliability problems lately. We've tried to look at Hondas before but weren't happy with the sales personnel at the local dealership. This time the strong reviews and the resale value of the Accord made us take a second look at a Honda. We were fortunate to meet up with a good salesperson too. The Accord is well designed and has great acceleration. Very little body lean and sound handling on tight corners. Seats are comfortable and the ride is good. Good highway gas mileage. I would definitely purchase this car again!

I have enjoyed my honda from the first day of purchase. The dealer ship was wonderful to us. The gas mileage is unbelieveable. The car rides like a dream. It is a small sedan but I still have room for two sons. One being almost 6 feet tall. There is plenty of room in the back for his legs. There are lots of extra features on the accord that isn't on the toyota camry.

Got the vehicle at clearance pricing which was a blessing on its own. Put on 500 miles in two days and the ride was a dream. Exterior style works because it seems to reduce wind noise when you have the windows down. Navigation system leads the way and is always out to impress others who share the vehicle. Love the fact that the nav screen is touch screen and that you can also use it to display XM Radio/CD/AM/FM (which shows Artist name & Song title), A/C controls & even has a calculator + calendar. Rear leg room is superb, trunk space is great for signs and quick getaways. Excellent on long drives (100 miles each way) and sharp handling reflexes. Took a fast turn and it handled flawlessly.

I love my Honda. This is a car that handles so easily. Our family has had several Hondas and in between we had a Toyota. This was a good car but there is such a difference in the handling. The Honda can turn on a dime. The other car had a mushy feel to it. The interior is beautiful.

Superlative build quality, fit and finish. Very refined and smooth engine, with as much power as v-6 engines of only a few years ago. 5- speed auto shifts crisply, steering is a little numb, but handling is great for this class. I previously owned a Mazda 626, which was a good car, nut the Accord does virtually everything better (even if only a little)

I purchased my Honda based on the reliability of all reports I read. I had always owned Pontiacs in the past. I am extremely diligent with maintenance. A considerable expense with Honda. I had several problems that cost me additional repairs. Interior light problems, trim not staying on. Storage compartment door broke on 3 occasions. The navi system started acting up. The cost of the navi system was $2,000 when I purchased the car. Today I was told the system needed to be replaced for $5,351. Yet, the cost for a new 2009 Honda Accord with navi is still only approx $2000 more than w/out. What a gimmick! Be warned! Don't waste your money!

I bought one of the first Accords with an A/T in '76 and have been a fan ever since. In the last five years I've owned an Odyssey, CR-V, and this new Accord. This is the best of the lot. Super comfortable, amazing handling and really quiet. I was amazed at the leg room in the back seat, even with the front seats pushed back. This is my around-town car, so the four banger is plenty of power with sweet gas mileage. 17+ gallon tank means passing a lot of gas stations along the way. Even the paint is superior to other cars in this price range.

This is a car that offers a winning - perhaps unbeatable - combination of value, refinement, reliability, style, fuel economy (just got 30.8 mpg on my second tankful) and overall satifaction. Honda continues to be relentlessly competent in its production of this model. What else would one expect from a perennial class leader?

Traded in an 03 Pilot for the 04 Accord. GREAT gas mileage and nice quiet ride. Enough room for the family of 4. Seems very european in the exterior design. Love the dash and the gauges. Stereo could use more power. The driver seat in the cloth LX is kinda lumpy and not very comfortable, Iam 6ft 220lbs. Still is one of the best near luxo cars for the money. Next car might be the EX-V6 w/ leather

If I were to write a detailed review... I would go on for days. This machine is at the top of its class. It is stylish, comfortable and sporty at an extremely affordable price tag. The interior is roomy with plenty of leg and head room for both driver and passengers. The car looks beautiful from the outside. The driving is amazing. I have a 4 cylinder engine, but it provides me with more than enough speed and power for driving in the city and on the highway. This car is a must have for people who like to be pampered, but do not have the budget to get a BMW or Mercedez.

Very sporty and at the same time it is a practical sedan. 240 HP is good enough to blast this thing 0- 60 in 6.5s. TSC, ABS, 8 Airbags, 6 CD all came standard. I just love it and did i mention gas mileage. 25/30 MPG is what I get and its far better than many rivals especially Germans in this class !!! I loved its ABS & TCS cause it has saved me a couple of times from some ruthless physical forces ...... !!!

Bought a 2004 EX V-6 Sedan painted white. White is the best color, for when you add makeup to the car, like a woman, she looks beautiful. The seating comfort is unreal--very comfortable. I also own a 1999 Accord V-6 Sedan, and it can't compare to my 2004. The V-6 power in the 2004 is unreal, especially when passing another vehicle on the highway. The gas mileage is even better then my 1999. However, Honda could have done a better job on the design. One more thing, when I start the car, it sounds like I am starting a 4 cyl. My 1999 sounds completely different.

After driving around 7 different cars we ended up with another Honda. This time we bought an Accord EX. My husband and I were both surprised on the "extras" that came standard on this car. He was looking for leather and I wanted the sunroof. We were also surprised with the amount of legroom you have in the back seat. We were looking for something sporty, but had to go with the 4 door due to having a son. I think the 4 door still looks sporty. My last car was an Accord also and we never had any trouble. We are hoping that Honda continues to have the reliablity we have come to expect.

I have owned quite a few vehicles in my time bit this is by far the best. It's the only car I've ever owned where I don't lust after other cars. It's a pleasure to drive and it was reasonably priced. Every time I see another car like it (and I see alot lately)I check it out so I can see how I look going down the road, I look great. It handles great and the power is there without losing fuel economy. I am seriously grateful that I found this car.

All of my honda's have been exceptionally reliable and so far so has this one. This car is so well thought out that Honda gives you a little yellow spot light on the center console. It's perfect.

traded in a van for this fun, exemplary vehicle. never did i think i would sit in a "car" again - yet this little gem of mine proves to me without a doubt that HONDA has it all...it's only a four cylinder but has the engine power of a six - without the smelly after- burn after a hard run! it handles so smoothly and the gas mileage - hey - i won't even tell you how much i get! it's too good to be true. must mention the expert salesperson at carmax who guided me through my purchase....who also proved to me that Hondas also keep their trade in value - high, high, higher than any other car! i understand clearly, the true value of my new car...

This car has a host of outstanding features--excluding the ABS and hydraulics. The rotors seem to degrade very quickly: The first owner was able to wipe them out after 25M! I had had the rotors resurfaced (twice!), but there are still problems, probably because they are so thin now. Now I can't bed-in the brakes, which could mean trouble on the freeway or in dense city traffic because of the huge stopping distance.

Honda needs to add improvements before competitors catch up with all their standard features. An EX should have many features regardless if its EX EXL or EXV6. The V6 is way too pricey but when compared toa camry xle 4 cyl. (which has more useful features than the accord) the camry is a lot more less pricewise, but id have to admit. it sucks driving it. so kudos to honda for making a great machine that only sips fuel, but features are a little lackluster. Cmon they need those gassy support hydraulic hood things, those manual rods can get really dangerous...its an EX HONDA!!! it needs better thoguht to other details as well.

I am so relieved to see some of the reviews complaining about the noise in this vehicle. Driving on the interstate is unbelievably loud unless the stereo is cranked way up. I can sit at a stoplight with the stereo on and all the windows closed and still hear every word of conversation or radio in the car next to me. HEY Honda, ever heard of a little thing called insulation???? Also, my brakes make all kinds of weird noises that the dealership can't explain away. I will never buy another Honda. Can't wait to get rid of this one.

For the price I've paid for this vehicle it is very comfortable, very reliable, the gas mileage is excellent and it has a ton of standard features. I use it as a commuter car, I've already put 38,000 miles on it in 18 months and it is still working like a swiss clock. I've only had one minor problem with the air conditioning not operating at the driver side which was due to a leak. That was fixed under warranty.

I have had the car for a little over 7 months. The car handles real well and accelerates like a demon. I had a 1999 Chrysler 300m before this car, and for the most part am glad I changed. Even though the Accord is 13hp less then the 300m it acccelerates faser and is much more refined. The Navigation system is a must have, but hasn't always steered me the best way. It doesn't always have the up-to-date info, and I have the newest disk.

Love driving this car, I have to use the crusie control because this is a fast car. I'll be doing 90 mph and not even know it! For a 4 banger this car really performs like a 6 banger, handles well and you can accelerate quickly from 60 to 80 with a slight push on the gas pedal. My wife calls it "the fast car", she enjoys it as much as I do.

Driverside room: Head is too close to the roof; the steering wheel has to be pointed toward face to allow leg room. The 4-Cylinder: On the highway - engine makes a lot of noice to get up to speed. The Voice Activation Navi-System disappointing. Has to be fairly quiet to hear voice commands. Highway noice disrupts it. The air conditioning turned on several times b/c of this (it's winter) If it's raining... Not totally voice activated; requires manual input. Don't like the Navi's newer display. It's harder to see. The silver molding around the windows - Yuk Gas milage: not as good as I thought it would be. Advertised 30-38 city/hwy.

Very well desinged car, that is quite economical. Unfortunately, the body is very poorly put together and the car has multiple noises that the dealership is currently working on. Fit and finish are also decidedly below expectations. It is as if the car has never gone through any quality control at the factory and I had a list of about 5 different items that had to be taken care off after the purchase of the vehicle...

I traded in my Prelude for the Accord, and actually liked the latter better. It's got a very comfortable leather interior (EX model), smooth changing of gears and acceleration. The satellite radio is a plus. I highly recommend this vehicle.
