I went out today to buy my pregnant wife a 2003 CRV. We got to the dealership, drove it, then told the sales guy to write it up. The guy suggested that I take my wife out in an Accord while he did his thing so we took off in a totally loaded 04 with everything possible but the Nav. I fell in love immediately and when we got back I told him to work up some numbers on this one as well... his eyes lit up and we left the dealership with both vehicles. I love this car, and I was about to pull the trigger on a brand new 325i. For the 10K I saved, this car blows the bimmer away in value and performance, and comes really close in handling.

After almost a year of research I settled on the Accord EX-V6. I drove the I-30, ES300, Camry XLE, Avalon XLS, and Maxima. The Accord was the best value for me. I like it better every day. The high horsepower, regular fuel, the fuel economy, and low emissions capped it for me. Along with wanting to support Honda for having the most fuel efficient car line. I have had two minor defects, a bad weld that buzzed at certain RPMs and a bad CD case door. Both were fixed quickly and the dealer was very professional. I love the interior comfort and controls, very ergonomic.

Purchased mostly due to high ratings across the board & Honda reliability although we purchased extended warranty after owning a Grand Cherokee. Exterior appearance is nice and comparable to luxury sedans for the price. Accord is sporty but also suited for family. Un- lit steering controls not a big deal once you get used to them. Wouldn't suggest the black interior since it always looks dirty and I like clean, but that's what silver comes with. Hard to rate reliability at this point but I've owned a Civic for 6 years and have never had any problems. Test drove the Camry-made us feel like old people. Also Mazda-6- didn't like it or the dealership.

Purchased for $24,416 + sales tax + ~$30 filing fee. Could not find any other comparably-priced vehicle that could touch the Accord EX V6! I also could not find any compelling reason to pay more. [Acura TSX is very similar, but smaller, less powerful (V4), and more expensive.] The car is very comfortable and the 240hp V6 provides for exceptionally smooth acceleration. I love this car, and considering Honda's reliability, expect to be driving it for a long, long time!

This car is really amazing. The feel ,the look and the drive of the Accord is unbeleivable. It is smooth and sleek. The interior is plush with no cheap looking gadgets. Everything looks classy and detail oriented in this car. I test drove the camry, altima and Sonata before I was totally sold on the Accord. Great value for money, plus the peace of mind for knowing its a Honda ! Would recommend to freinds and family.

Very smooth, very quiet, excellent interior for a car that costs $25K. Controls and switches are best-in-any- class. The engine, always Honda's forte, is incredible. Seats are a big improvement over previous generations and might be the best car seats I've ever experienced. Exterior styling is OK, except the rear-view (of the 4dr sedan) needs to be reconsidered.

Finally got out of 1996 VW Jetta GL. I have been more than patient! Read all reviews on Accord EX-V6 I could find to make sure I was not buying another disaster. Everyone seemed to agree you can't go wrong with Honda. Initially wanted the LX-V6. Bought the EX trim level so I could get side curtain airbags. Safety was on top of my list. This car has more bells and whistles than I initially wanted. Had to shop around, as first dealership would not give anything for trade-in, and wanted MSRP for the car. I was initially looking at silver, but did not want the black interior. Got the green with tan inside.

Uncomfortable Seat

This car has handles very well, although the ride is stiff. The interior is inspired by more expensive German cars and is very attractive. The acceration is excellent. Unfortunately, it wasn't until 1 day after I bought the car that I realized how unbearably uncomfortable the driver's seat is to sit in. The lower seat cushion isn't wide enough for my 38 inch waist. My rear end is wedged between the two side bulsters, and this creats a pressure point on my upper right thigh. This constant pain is the source of my low ratings for comfort and fun to drive. I will probably sell this car soon.

Picked it up at the dealer and set out on a 1200 mile trip. Worst mileage I logged was 31 mpg combination highway and intown driving in Chicago and the best was 37 mpg, all highway, and this was at 75 plus miles and hour. Very comfortable for long stretches, the drivers seat was infinitly adjustable. My one and only suggestion would be to make the 12 volt outlet stay on when the veh. is turned off.

I spent a few weeks researching what to get for my next car. I looked at the usual suspects and kept coming back to the Accord. I've owned two Honda's in the past so I was comfortable with the idea of getting another one. I have a family so safety is important to me, so after doing some research I decided an EX with Side Curtain Airbags (SCA) was what I wanted. I had some trouble finding one but this past weekend I was at my local dealer and found one on the lot. I got it for 21,600 and I'm very happy. This is a great car for the money, the drive-train and build quality is second to none. If your thinking about an Accord get it, you wont be disappointed.

I reciently owned a 2003 Honda Accord LX Sedan. I traded it in for the 04 EX V6 6MT Coupe; only because my wife purchased a family SUV and there is no need for another family car. I owned it for a little more than a year and put over 26000 miles on and, and never had a problem once. The car was flawless. Great ride, great power for a 4 Cyl, and outstanding fuel economy. Best in its class.

GOOD: Best car I have ever owned - does everything well. Good compromise between handling and ride comfort (after new tires, read below). Extremely reliable and well built. Can't live without the navigation system - best I have used. Touch screen makes it easy to enter data while creeping along in city traffic. With many nav systems you must be in park or be stopped to operate, but not with this one. XM radio is voice operated. Intuitive controls. Separate driver-side and passenger-side set-and-forget temperature control. BAD: No sex appeal. Not bluetooth compatible. With automatic, easy to accidentally select third gear (D3) instead of fifth (D).

Bought this as commute workhorse. Very refined feel. Smooth auto shifting and loves getting on freeway. Great ergo layout. Comfy front seats. Get one hell of a car for the price. That being said, I have had center compartment, back door panel replaced under warrenty because of poor fit. Also had back power window replaced because of terrible sound when in use. Several rattles and chirps in cabin when driving. Makes me crazy. Stereo also rattles interior at moderate level. Also, doesn't hold road thru fast corners real well. I think its the pinner tires. But no doubt I will be driving this trouble free well after it is paid off.

Had purchased an '04 Camry. The ride was smooth but interior ergonomics was horrible. Driver seat squeaked and front end had a problem they never fixed. Traded it in for the Accord and there is no comparison. Honda DOES know how to build solid vehicles and has one of the better interior designs of any maker. The look and feel of the 04 Accord is the best for the money.

I sell real estate and I get a lot of compliments on the car. As a full time driver with 30-35 thousand miles a year on a car I am in this automobile a lot. There is a clunking sound when you turn corners, back up a distinctive shift clunk! I hate that about this car.The second thing I did not like was the navigation system was not up to date. Any street that is 5 years or more was indicated on the system, but new things are not. They tell me the disks are updated every 5 years. In a area where there are new subdivisions and it constantly grows you need more up to date CD’s. On star gives live up to the minute information.

This has to be the roughest riding car I have ever driven. I own a '94 Accord that rides smoother than my new one. I give it an A+ for exterior styling. As for the interior, I have to give it a B only because of the radio which does not allow you to install an aftermarket radio without some serious mods to the dashboard.

This is my 5th Honda Accord since 89 -Great mileage (27 city with only 500 miles on the car), safety features including side curtian bags standard this year with leather. Lots of room in the back seats, great ride and all the things that makes it a relaxing, safe car to spend the day in. I looked and drove the Acura TSX, Volvo S40 and S60, Maxima, Passat and this is by far the better value and has more room and features at a lower price and the Accord doesn't require premium gas like the other cars I test drove. All my Hondas have been very reliable and my 94 EX Accord with 143,000 miles is now my son's and trouble free with just normal oil, brakes etc.

I drive very little but wanted a solid and safe car. The 2004 Honda Accord EX-L (leather) has side, curtain air bags which I wanted for added safety. After testing the Mazda 6i (wasn't very refined with 4 cyl. engine and automatic, but great brakes, handling, and ride) and the Toyota Camry LE (as boring as taking a bus--oversoft suspension and soft brake pedal feel),I drove the Honda Accord and thought it was clearly the best car among those I considered.

Replaced my 1993 Accord with this. Couldn't pass up the $199 lease. Compared this to a Mazda 6 and Mazda has Honda beat in value for features provided. Similar priced Mazda 6 comes with 4 wh. disc brakes, dual exhaust (4 cyl.) radio button on steering wheel, auto. vol. control on radio. None of which honda offers on the LX model. Honda needs to start thinking outside the box. I know their conservative styling and functionality has worked till now but I can only assume that other manufactures are eating into their sales with more bang for the buck. I went with the Honda because of the lease price and the reliability. If low lease was not offered, maybe Mazda.

After months and months of research and constant debate, I finally purchased a 2004 silver ex-v6 Accord. I could not be more satisfied with my purchase. It was a tough decision between the Altima, Maxima, and TSX. Ultimately, more bang for the buck sums the Accord up in one phrase. At 1000 dollars below invoice, there was no need to make a choice. This is my second Honda. Being the best can only get better.

Nothing else on the market comes close in this price range -- perhaps even in higher ranges -- in terms of quality, reliability, resale, attractiveness, features, handling, and performance. Also bought a Civic EX from the same dealer about 2 weeks later.

Got sick of spending money on big fixes for a 97 saab 900 turbo convert. This car is rock solid; the 4-cylinder is just fine. Classy interior, NAV and voice systems are fantastic as well. My first Honda (after many Toyotas over the years), and the first 5000 miles have gone smoothly. I have concluded that dual climate control is ridiculous, however.

Had 5 Hondas (2 Accords and 3 Civics) and have been a very satisfied Honda customer. This is my 6th Honda and 3rd Accord. Though I had this one for only a week, I have been thoroughly impressed with what Honda has done to the 2004 EX. The interior is very nice and comfortable. You get almost the same amenities as what you will get with a luxury car. And I can really feel the quality build with the tight sound when you close the door. Handles very nicely.

After about 5,000 miles I traded in my Honda for a VW Passat. Here are the reasons. 1) EX had no traction control, isn't part of the EX package. I thought I didn't need it, guess what you need it. When you are pulling out on to a highway when it is wet, you find out you need it. 2) The noise, take a drive on a concrete highway or get on a highway next to a truck. You will find out the skimped on the sound insulation. 3) Take a ride over 70 miles an hour into a turn, or ride on a rough highway at 70 MPH. You will have to hold the wheel with 2 hands, understeer is there.

Traded in a 2001 Accord EX 4cyl for the 04' EX V6, and can only say that the new Accord is awesome. Ride is a bit stiffer and more sports like. Leather interior is great and XM satelite radio is an excellent system and a good alternative to CDs. Am 6'4" and there is ample leg room and seats are very supportive. Best feature is the 240 hp V6. It is very smooth, quiet and really responsive. Veh is an excellent value overall.

As a long time Toyota Camry owner, it was difficult to switch brands. I'm not disappointed! I purchased a 2004 EX-V6 with a rear wing spoiler for $700 under invoice. The engine is quiet, powerful, and easy on gas. 25 mpg in mixed driving. Very impressive! I got the same gas mileage on my '96 Camry, 4 cylinder, and only half the horsepower (120 hp vs. 240hp). Smooth shifting transmission, intelligent control layout, precise handling, and quiet cabin. Standard safety features: ABS brakes, dual front air bags, side curtain air bags, and security system. A comparably equipped Camry would have cost me thousands more.

The little things that make the usefullness of this car is outstanding. From the double pass through back seat, the all in one key fob, the valet security features, and of course the safety.

After driving around 7 different cars we ended up with another Honda. This time we bought an Accord EX. My husband and I were both surprised on the "extras" that came standard on this car. He was looking for leather and I wanted the sunroof. We were also surprised with the amount of legroom you have in the back seat. We were looking for something sporty, but had to go with the 4 door due to having a son. I think the 4 door still looks sporty. My last car was an Accord also and we never had any trouble. We are hoping that Honda continues to have the reliablity we have come to expect.

I've had the Honda accord for 3 weeks now and I'm very impressed with the comfort, handling, quietness, and acceleration of the v-6. The interior is roomy and the wood accents are nice with the beige leather interior. Overall, still a great car for the price with excellent residual value and fun to drive.

I traded in my 1990 VW Jetta, looking for a sporty four door sedan that would be comfortable for 4 adults whether travelling to evening shows or bicycling events. I find the car extremely fun to drive. It has great exceleration and corners well. The seats are wonderfully comfortable and don't put pressure on the tail-bone.

For the price I've paid for this vehicle it is very comfortable, very reliable, the gas mileage is excellent and it has a ton of standard features. I use it as a commuter car, I've already put 38,000 miles on it in 18 months and it is still working like a swiss clock. I've only had one minor problem with the air conditioning not operating at the driver side which was due to a leak. That was fixed under warranty.

2004 Honda Accord EX V-6 4dr Sedan w/Leather and Navigation (3.0L 6cyl 5A)

I have had the car for a little over 7 months. The car handles real well and accelerates like a demon. I had a 1999 Chrysler 300m before this car, and for the most part am glad I changed. Even though the Accord is 13hp less then the 300m it acccelerates faser and is much more refined. The Navigation system is a must have, but hasn't always steered me the best way. It doesn't always have the up-to-date info, and I have the newest disk.
