This is a ver hard car to see out of. I am very short waisted and I just can't see and have to be very carefull when driving. I find that GM cars are much eaiser to drive when you are older and short.

A few items short of being perfect

The car has a great, quiet ride. The V6 is smooth and powerful, and the gas mileage is very good, even with the V6. The radio controls are complicated. Honda dropped the ball on some items, considering the EX V6 is the top of the line. There are NO anti glare or heated mirrors. The Canadian version of the Accord has heated mirrors. Apparently someone at Honda doesn't think winters can be just as cold and snowy in the USA. The controls on the steering wheel are not lit, making them useless at night. The headlights do not turn on automatically. While these items may seem small, they are safety items so buyer beware.

I am so glad I purchased this Accord. This is one FANTASTIC automobile!! I always loved Hondas so I knew this one would be a smart purchase. It rides great, gets great mileage and is truly worth every penny! I love the seats, the ergonomics are perfect and it gets compliments wherever I go. It is very roomy and truly a joy to drive. No regrets - the BEST car I have ever owned!

I have the car just over a month and put 3500 miles on it. Performance of the 4 cylinder is amazing. Any more power that you get from the 6 is a waste of gas, this car flies and on 70mph trip I got 35 mpg. It's not a sports car but its pretty sporty if you are looking for a family sedan.

Have had the car year-and-a-half. Has 30K Miles and not a single problem. Gets great gas mileage (34 on interstate and 26 in town). However, the tires spin pretty easy, especially if it's wet out. Not sure if it's the Michelins or bad weight splits on the car. Also, the brakes grab really hard every now-and-then. When I turn on the A.C. will hear a "clunk" when the compressor kicks in. Also, the A.C. pulls hard on the engine. Have to wind the engine out more between shifts to keep it from getting herky-jerky. Also, trunk has no detent, so when you open it and the wind is blowing, it'll fall down on your head (ouch!) Also, when turn HVAC temp dial, hear a wierd groaning noise.

Car is great and fun to drive. If the quality holds up as expected, it will easily be the best buy I have made.

I originally was not a big fan of the Accord but after driving one my opinion changed. This is an amazing car. The fit and finish is extremely good, it had great pickup, and the over driving feel is tight and precise. The EX-V6 comes loaded. I highly recommend test driving one if you are in the market for a 4 door car.

This car offers a tremendous amount of value. When purchasing, you should focus on getting the dealer to or below invoice, nowhere close to MSRP. Not exciting to look at from the outside, but a wonderful car from the inside. Gas mileage is phenomenal for a car this size with this set of features, however stop and go driving takes a toll (as it does on every car).

I just traded in my '96 Honda Accord EX on a '04 Honda Accord LX, and so far I love it. This model feels more substansial than my last one. I have owned a '00, a '96, and now an '04. Out of all 3 models, this is probably the best one I've had yet. I love the way it handles, the way it gives you a "command" view of the road. It sits a lot higher than my '96. I drive it to school and to work. But I plan on taking this one on a few trips to visit family. I love the center stack for the stereo and heating/ac controls. It really brings the car up into "luxury" model status. I also love the tilt, telescoping steering wheel. Haven't had it long, but so far, no complaints.

I test drove the Altima, and Camry and decided on the Accord based appearance, Honda's reputation for reliablity, and resale value. This car has exceeded my expectations. Gas milage is terrific (28+ MPG). I have driven it for 2000 miles and have not had to have it back to the dealership once, unlike my previous experiences with Ford products. I was so impressed with my Accord, I went out two months later and purhased my wife a 04 Odyssey, which has been great also. Honda has really got it together.

I have had this car for over a year now & just love it! I have been on many road trips and the hwy mpg is great! City mpg could be better but I do have a heavy foot and the ac is always on full blast with the Houston heat. I have had a few rattles but again, Houston is pothole city, and I have had to take it in for a suspension problem. I do agree with others when they say Honda should tighten up on Quality Control with all Hondas made in the US. But I know this car will last for 15 years and have very little or no problems. Nothing is perfect. But this car is very close. I love the Navigation and the whole interior and all the standard features. I also feel safe with all the airbags.

One of the best cars on the market. Styling, comfort, saftey, performance, maintnance surpass any competitor on the market. I had a 2003 camry before I bought this accord, there is no comparison. The v6 in the accord is a better performer and has better gas mileage. The accord also has better saftey ratings than the accord. Great overall car. I have already put 13,000 miles on the car and havent had one problem.

Of course the Audi handles better and has more power, but that's where the benefits stop. The Accord provides a smooth ride, plenty of power, a VERY comfortable interior, and is a LOT less costly to maintain. You don't have to spend $45,000 on a fancy German car to have fun.

I just recently purchased a brand new Honda Accord EX with leather and a manual transmission and I love it. Driving it is so much fun. There is so much power even in just a 4 cylinder. This is definitely a luxury sedan in my opinion and worth every penny. I highly recommend purchasing a new Honda Accord. I got an excellent deal in my area...MSRP of only $22138 instead of $23990. After adding on splash guards, door guards, a moon roof visor, cargo net and gold emblem kit and 6 year, 100,000 mile warranty my final price was $24232.81. What a deal. I love it and give this vehicle five stars. Thanks Cleo Bay Honda, for making my day!

The Word Is Value

Ask yourself what you want out of a car -- comfort, styling, performance, features, reliability, quality. The word is "value." Simply put, the Honda Accord offers more value than anything on the market today. It's smart money. This car drives like a rocket, looks great in the driveway, and costs virtually nothing to operate. I have never been happier with a purchase. For the money, it's the best thing going. Think hard about your money, and then drive an Accord -- preferably in EX trim, with leather/sunroof/6- disc/XM/etc. Ask yourself, is there any greater value? The answer is the Accord.

I love my car. It's the bomb...but but but... I'm uncomfortable in the driver's seat. My head's too close to the ceiling and my legs are too close to the steering wheel. I've tried to adjust the seat and steering and I just can't find a comfortable position (I'm not a tall person either). Granted, I was used to my Odyssey Van... The passenger seat is more comfortable. I think the seat sits closer to the floor (?) I hope I get used to this and it quits being an annoyance... The gas and break are really touch too (just to mention it). The interior design is "sweet!".

I have put off buying my Accord for several years. After driving my 2004 Accord for a couple of days, I can't imagine why I waited so long. This is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. The build is solid, roomy interior, huge trunk, and 30+ mpg. I bought the 4 cyl coupled with the 5- speed transmission (a loaded EX with leather interior) for a price of $21,600. You cannot beat the price for such value.

I love my Accord. Everything from the power, sound system, and navigation system shouts "expensive". The doors feel and sound German good. The service costs are quite inexpensive. I am also happy with the 16 inch wheels because I did not want the harshness that is inherent with larger wheels and tires. I will change the Michelins with something else in about a year since they are a bit loud on some surfaces and not that grippy. They are good but not up to what the Accord's suspension can do. Overall... great job Honda. I have owned Honda's since 1987 and I will probably own at least one for many decades to come, even if I were to hit the lottery!

Honda makes the best shifting manual transmission in this category. Love the car, get 27-29mpg in mixed driving. 32-34mpg at high-speed interstated driving. Handling is decent w/ EX model. However, this is a torque engine, not much top-end kick to it, just a steady pull all the way to redline. No problems at all except sunglass holder pops open on its own - should be a warranty fix when I get around to it. No reservations about this purchase after 6,000 miles.

The 4 cyl is powerful for city but lacks just a little on the highway. I would still get the 4 over the 6. I get about 30mpg combined on the recommended 87 octane. The leather seats are very comfortable and supportive. I wouldn't buy one without the Nav and voice activation. It makes the car and changes the whole look of the dash.

I just picked up an '04 4dr Accord LX- V6, and what a fantastic car ! It's power is truly amazing, and I have yet to really lean on the accelerator. It is very quiet on the highway, and has responsive handling, even though it weighs about 300 lbs more than a 4 cylinder. Accelerating onto the highway is so very easy - the engine barely breathes. One would be hard-pressed to find a better value than the Honda V6.

For the most part, I like my car. It feels pretty powerful for just 4 cylanders. The sunroof is fun, I've never had one before. The controls on the stereo are great. Probably the best on any car that I've seen. I've got some noise from my driver window if it is windy or I'm going over 45mph. The other annoying thing is the paint. I had a Saturn before and the paint didn't chip nearly as easily as this one does. I've had it for two months and I've had two door dings chip the paint. One on each side. One of them I did myself with our other car and the other car (Altima) didn't lose any paint at all.

I traded in my '96 Accord EX 4dr for an '04 Honda Accord LX 4dr, with the 5-speed automatic and I love it! Yeah, I miss my sunroof, but the overall performance, gas mileage, and reliability outweigh the missing sunroof. I have had no trouble with this vehicle since I purchased it. It had about 16,000 miles on it when I got it earlier this year. Now it has about 31,000 and still riding trouble free. The one thing I do not like is the blind spots in this car. I've had a 2000 Accord LX and a 1996 Accord EX and the visibility in those was great. In this car, not so much. It's like aiming a land yacht sometimes when parking. However, this is still the best one I've had.

I bought my 2004 Accord new off the showroom floor. I initially bought it because of the fuel economy and maintenance history but I love driving this car. It handles great and is very low maintenance. It now has 105,000 miles on it and I still love it. The only unexpected issue I had was a headlight replacement which was relatively inexpensive. Every time I take it in for service, the service technicians try to sell me a new one because they have such a demand for used Accords. My 6'4" husband doesn't like it because he doesn't fit well in the passenger seat, but he rarely drives it.

The car has some rattles around the moonroof and the windows creak if they are only open an inch or two when driving on anything but the smoothest road. I only experience decent performance when on the expressway or not in crowded city traffic. If you are driving in the 20-40 mph range, the car seems to lug and be unresponsive when you step on the gas. The headlights dim when idling at a stoplight or whenever the compressor kicks in. The brake pedal sinks if you are braking slowly and go more than 30 feet or so, the pedal will sink down and you need to press harder to have to car continue to brake.

I went out today to buy my pregnant wife a 2003 CRV. We got to the dealership, drove it, then told the sales guy to write it up. The guy suggested that I take my wife out in an Accord while he did his thing so we took off in a totally loaded 04 with everything possible but the Nav. I fell in love immediately and when we got back I told him to work up some numbers on this one as well... his eyes lit up and we left the dealership with both vehicles. I love this car, and I was about to pull the trigger on a brand new 325i. For the 10K I saved, this car blows the bimmer away in value and performance, and comes really close in handling.

After almost a year of research I settled on the Accord EX-V6. I drove the I-30, ES300, Camry XLE, Avalon XLS, and Maxima. The Accord was the best value for me. I like it better every day. The high horsepower, regular fuel, the fuel economy, and low emissions capped it for me. Along with wanting to support Honda for having the most fuel efficient car line. I have had two minor defects, a bad weld that buzzed at certain RPMs and a bad CD case door. Both were fixed quickly and the dealer was very professional. I love the interior comfort and controls, very ergonomic.

Great car. Far exceeded my expectations both in performance, quietness of ride, smoothness and asthetic appearance. The gas mileage is unbelievable. I can go over 400 miles on a single tank.

This is my 5th Honda Accord since 89 -Great mileage (27 city with only 500 miles on the car), safety features including side curtian bags standard this year with leather. Lots of room in the back seats, great ride and all the things that makes it a relaxing, safe car to spend the day in. I looked and drove the Acura TSX, Volvo S40 and S60, Maxima, Passat and this is by far the better value and has more room and features at a lower price and the Accord doesn't require premium gas like the other cars I test drove. All my Hondas have been very reliable and my 94 EX Accord with 143,000 miles is now my son's and trouble free with just normal oil, brakes etc.

Bought the Accord EX-V6 after many months of research and test driving imports and domestics. Nothing else on the market comes close in this price range -- perhaps even in higher ranges -- in terms of quality, reliability, resale, attractiveness, features, handling, and performance. Also bought a Civic EX from the same dealer about 2 weeks later.
