This car is everything that I imagined when I ordered it. There is not one bad thing to say about it. It looks great, has a great ride that is solid and oh so quiet! 21 mpg on the first tank of gas...27 mpg on my first road trip.

So far my Accord has held up wonderfully. I love the fact that I can fit two adults in the back and they aren't cramped. Fuel mileage is a big plus, I usually average 26 mpg with a mix of city and highway driving (mostly highway). The only issue I have is the rear window needs a wiper, water seems to just sit on the back window and makes it kind of annoying to look out of. I would (and do) recommend the 7th generation (03+) accord to anyone.

I was excited about purchasing my new Accord. My daughter has a 12 year old Honda Civic that has been fantastic! I test drove the Accord and Camry and knew I couldn't go wrong with either, but the Accord was so much fun to drive! I am looking forward to years of reliability and enjoying my Accord.

This is an update from my last review 4 years ago. Now with 30K under the clock, I can say that this car is still good value for the money. True, it is a bit date now compared to Jan '03, but it still better looking than the dopey Camry and the cheap looking Altima. Yes, the rear end is still debatable but with the spoiler in place, it's look good enough. The engine is powerful, smooth with reg. gas that several times, I left it in D3 and hardly hear it at 3K RPM. So far, I had a few issues: front brake rotor resurfaced, bad wiper motor and a couple of recalls to fix the 5sp AT and brake caliper. However, it has been reliable every time I turned the key (except on cold days, two).

Got the EX-L 3 wks ago. This car is more solid, rigid and fun to drive than previous model. The interior is well designed and detail oriented. Although Honda rarely compete itself against BMW or Benz, this car truly is sporty in term of handling. The 6 in 1 CD changer is a bit difficult to get used to. The center console cover is already starting to rattle, but overall this car is good. I prefer this car's handling over my just bought I35.

I couldn't be happier with my 03 EX V6 - it has more power than I can legally used, and runs like a top. Coming from a mid-1990s BMW 3 Series is like coming from the stone age to the present. This car is very, very good at everything you need a sedan to be. If it had a luxury badge, it would cost you $10,000 more for a car with fewer features. I chose between EX V6 and BMW 325, and decided I was paying too much for a luxury badge (plus I was a little tired of paying BMW service and parts prices for the past 7 years), for less reliability. A completely enjoyable experience - just get used to seeing your car everywhere! Happy hunting.

Everything on this car works perfectly. But, it rides like a truck. Drive a couple of hundred miles and you hurt. If it had a ride like a Camry it would be the greatest car ever invented. Take a viagara and go for a ride in a Honda and you are in for an exciting day. The thing never stops jiggling. Rotten springing. Reminds me of an old Army jeep. Also wish the steering wheel buttons were lighted.

This car is really , i havent bought it yet bought i was just there for a test drive and it looks great, alot of features and very nice and smooth, get the LX-V6 instead of EX-V6 cause it is not worth the extra 2 grands for sunroof and few other things. You get the same power and comfort. I wish i get it as soon as possible.

This is a smart car to own because it is so practical and fairly inexpensive to own. The Camry was equally nice, but rather boring, and it had inadequate brakes. Forget the Altima for the cheap interior plastic parts. The Accord is my first Honda. I hope it will last a long time while offering a fun car to drive.

The '03 Honda Accord EX-L Automatic is what you expect from Honda: safe, reliable, and equipped with many useful options. The 2.4L i-VTEC provides decent performance in the 4 cyl class, and is only slightly less powerful than the VW/Audi 1.8T motor. Automatic transmission performance is smooth, and fuel economy is excellent.

I'm pretty picky, and I can't find one thing to complain about as far as build quality and design. I think the Camary rides quieter, but since I wanted leather seats and the high end trim package with base engine and tranny the Honda "EX" package offered the configuration I coudn't get in the Camary. I like the looks of the Accord over the Camary too. Good car.

Bought this Accord new in 2003. It has met or exceeded all my expectations. We now have 200,000 km on the car and have made 2 unscheduled visits to the dealership. When the car was new, the low-washer-fluid sensor did not work, or was not connected. At 135,000 km the HVAC/Radio display went out and was replaced, no hassles by a good-will warranty. It's hard to find fault with this car. Clutch still works like new, very reasonable gas mileage, reasonable 4- cyl torque and Hp (161 and 160). Maintenance costs have been low. I am a true car enthusiast and while this car is not overly exciting, it does everything it is expected to do and does it well.

We looked at the Acura, Infinity, and Lincoln LS. Even though the honda isn't considered in the class of "luxury cars" that those cars are-we couldn't find a feature in the other cars that made it worth the 5k higher price tag. While it lacks exterior appeal, the Accord EX V6 looks better on the inside than the the Camry or any other car we test drove. Feels good to drive, I know it's reliable and I didn't feel the need to spend thousands more just for a name.

Have had our new Accord for 2 months now and LOVE it. It has plenty of pep and handles great. The interior leg room is wonderful. I wouldn't have bought anything else. It surprises me that some people have such big complaints, perhaps they should pay more attention before buying a car and test drive more than just one brand.

The handling and pickup of the redesigned Accord is great. Also that the new V6 gets the same MPGs as my 4 Cyl 2000 Accord is pretty amazing. My passengers say the read seating area seating is very comfortable for long drives. The number of built in features added to the car was impressiave. There were very few things to add to the car.

One of the first things you notice when you hit the road is the swift acceleration of the 6 cylinder engine. It is clearly superior to the 4. When the wife is a little cold, you don't have to get a little warm. Because, the dual A/C settings are in place. Seat warmers are handy when your sitting in the soft comfortable leather seats. The 6 CD changer is in dash and convenient. Plus, you have the resale value of a Honda. We are very happy.

9 days after purchasing my brand new 2003 Black Accord EX V6 Sedan, a couple from Germany pulled out in front of me...totaling my beautiful car. Both of us believe this car saved our lives. The accident was a front end collision (at 45mph) and we both walked away with only a few injuries. It could have been worse... Afterall, I'm probably one of the first people to own two of the new body styles. And yes, I'm getting the same exact car, some would think that would be bad luck... I think this car was the best thing that I could have been driving in this situation. I would recomend this car to anyone, it's the sexiest sedan I've ever seen.

Upgraded to the 2003 Accord EX from my 2001 Civic LX. Have been a Honda fan for years, owned a 91 Accord that I put 240,000 miles on with no problems besides normal maintenance. Plan to do the same with this Accord. Don't know why some reviewers are complaining about cabin noise as mine is very quiet, no wind noise at all. Road feel is excellent and the 4 cyl. has more than enough power for normal driving. Drove a Camery and couldn't make the switch from Honda to Toyota, then checked out the Jetta, too euro. Accord is can't go wrong purchase.

Past vehicles: Acura 3.5RL (too sedate) 98 Passat (too trouble prone), an 01.5 Passat (good car) and most recently an 02 A4 Turbo (frequent electical problems). This Accord is stylish compared to them. The new interior has a more luxurious feel (wood/leather) compared to the stark Audi style. This is my first ever automatic, and the 5 speed is very smooth, yet downshifts accurately when power is applied. VERY quiet cruiser. Not a sports sedan in the German sense, but a competent family sedan with tons of room and amenities that rival Acura. Honda must have torn apart a Passat and cross-bred it with the 3.2TL.

Traded in a 95 Benz C280 and I'm still smiling. I shopped the Passat and thought about the Acura TL, but I couldn't shake the thought of the newly styled Accord. Am extremely happy with new EX-L 4 door, 4 cyl. Much less power than the Benz, but it is new and has full warranty and great reliability record plus the back seat is roomier and I have plenty of space for child safety seat, plus two more rear passengers if need be. If your thinking about getting this car, just do it, you shouldn't have any regrets.

I've bought an Accord V6 EX in January. The 5sp auto transmission is much smoother than typical Hondas but it still hesitates to downshift. The ride has very good damp and not too harsh like the Maxima SE but it does not corner as well (trade off here). Too bad they leave out some of the convenient features that should be standard in this car: memory seat, heated outside mirror and steering wheel, fog lights and auto dim rear view mirror. The fog lights and auto dim mirror cost a fortune as a dealer options. All in all, a decent car but I think that the Maxima is a still better car for the money.

This is my first Honda. Almost bought the G35 coupe but finally decided that it's not worth the extra $10k(fully loaded). The only problem (probably same for all Honda) is that I live on a hill and this car will roll down hill if the gas pedal is not pressed, which makes it very hard to control when going from parking to drive. Otherwise, this is a perfect car for the money.

This is a wonderful automobile. The best I have ever owned. It's too bad that the "Big 3" can't build a car that's half as good as this Accord Coupe....with the exception of the Corvette perhaps. This car is so well balanced and thought out, I think it would be a mistake not to test drive one if you're in the market for a new car. (Where else can you have this much driving fun matched with practicallity and unmatched reliability for $18K? Also, the five speed 4 cylinder is probably the best way to go, since it's about three hundred pounds lighter than the V6.

I've had numerous Hondas and recenetly traded in a 2002 SE for a 2003 4 cyl. EX 5 speed. WOW! What a difference! I know a dealer who stated he wouldn't need a V6 for a demo any longer because the 4 cyl has lots more power than last year. I've never Honda not stand behind their product and I've ALWAYS had great service from my dealerships in every city I've lived in. Can't rave enough about how fun the 5 speed is in this car and how quickly it can accelerate! If you haven't done it yet, go drive one. If you do, take the checkbook 'cause you'll be bringing it home!

I have my car for two months and love it. Wanted to get something that was sporty, reliable, powerful and comfortable. This car has all of those characteristics and more. I researched and drove the VW Passat, Mazda 6, Lexus ES 300, Nissan Altima, Infinity G35 and BMW 325i. Out of all those cars, the Accord offered the most features for the least amount of money. The car has great pickup in both the low and high RPM ranges. There is a slight delay between when I press on the gas and when I see results, similar to a 4 cyl turbo. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the car and would consider getting another one in the future.

I bought this car two weeks ago and it is the most comfortable car that I have ever been in. All of the controls are easily accessible on the steering wheel and the Navigation system is unsurpassed! I wasnt sure if I wanted the V-6 or the 4 cyl. but after driving both I was convinced that the 4 cyl. was the best I'd ever driven. The pick up is surprisingly good and the V-6 gas mileage wasnt worth the trade off. I have only put 1200 miles on it so far and I already get 400+ miles on one tank of gas. Love this car...got it at an amazing price...would recommend it and the dealership I went to to anyone!

I bought this Accord EX-V6 sedan brand new in December of 2002. Almost 6.5 years in, it has probably been out of service no more than a couple of weeks. I serviced primarily at two dealers (Braman in West Palm Beach, FL & Wade Raulerson in Gainesville, FL) - both are professional and prompt. I have a heavy foot, but my fuel economy is just ok. . . I struggle to get 20mpg with a 50/50 city/highway mix. Wind noise is unacceptably intrusive. However, engine and transmission refinement, overall ride quality, interior design and comfort, and the overall continued quality of this car are unsurpassed in the price range. Not without it faults, but definitely the best pick in this class of vehicle.

This car is definately comparable to Lexus, BMW, Benz, and Audi. The good news: it's only a fraction of the price. Interior is the best I've seen, this car has awesome power, and the dash-lighting will blow you away. Great job Honda!!!!

I got the LX-V6 because I wanted more headroom and was willing to give up the sunroof to get it. It also helped that the car was $2500 less than the EX-V6. Car is quite, comfortable, fast and a pleasure to drive. Wife has a 2002 Toyota Camry SE-V6; good car with no fun factor. If you want a great car with a wonderful V-6, you must drive this car before you buy anything else.
