My 1st honda automobile and it wont be the last. As a diehard GM owner I was very skeptical about buying one but my daughter has a 97 civic with well over 100k on it and it still runs and drives like a new car. This car has plenty of power for the average person, fun to drive, easy to maintain. the only problem I've had was the carpet on the passengers side was loose from the trim.I've taken fairly long trips(600- 750) and it has gotten over 35mpg at over 75 mph. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat if I was in the market for a car.

This car is a great all around performer. It is quick off the line and handles pretty well. It cruises at high speeds with ease and is very quiet on the highway. Interior is laid out well and is very attractive. Can't beat the bang for the buck, heated seats, strong V-6, dual climate, sunroof, soft leather, 6 disc...the list goes on and on.

Honda has done it again with their Accord line. For 2003 the new accord's comfort is unmatched for the price your getting it for. Having experience with a 2002 camry too, although the camry may Look better on the Outside, but never judge a car by its hood!, its whats under the hood and whats in the car(interior kicks A$$) and has more luxury features and more options to customize, the accord is more on the conserviative side and priced and built only with highest quality in mind, still manage to blance out with conserving and FUN to drive:-D

Accord, Sweet Looking Performance Car?

Who would have ever believed that Honda would make a sweet looking V6, 6 speed manual, Accord Coupe which comes very close to out performing so called performance cars costing tens of thousands more. The V6 coupled with the 6 speed manual shift is an absolute blast to drive. The engine pulls very strong and smooth all the way to red line with awesome acceleration for a "grocery getter". The factory handling set up and the stock tires don't seem adequate for the cars looks and drivetrain. However, with some reasonably priced aftermarket improvements this can be a sweet looking performance car at a bargain price!

Wow a family car for the sports car fanatic. Don't know if honda's could get much better for the money. After owning many honda motorcycles i love their fit and finish. the accord is no different. The transmission is newly improved and is short short throw and slick as butter. my corolla steer feels Heavier! than this baby. The Z28 turns more heads but man what a mech. POS!the driving feel is light and the steering is crisp and tracks straight as an arrow. The car gets 28.5 on the freeway or so and is a big car.the seats really hold you in. Maybe a hair too much wind noise and the radio is no match for my Alpine

This is a great car! the car have exceptional power for a v4. I've owned this car for 6 months already and everything has going great exept for a few minor fix up which would be great. It seem like the car is slow on the starting and the stereo need a little bit more power. Better gas milage in city would also be great too. The car doesn't perform well on city milage like the way how it well the hwy milage. The brake system was a little bit touchy at first but once you get the hang of it, you love the response. I have to say after test driving the altima, camry, passat I think this car has the best value for the car. great interior and exterior.

The 2003 Accord is the third in a row for us since 1987. It just keeps getting better! We almost never have a problem, including the 1991 that had over 100,000 miles when we upgraded late last year. And most amazing, we are getting better highway mileage now with a 240 HP V6 than we did with the old Honda 4 cylinder with half the HP. It is a very responsive, roomy and well built car that is always there when you need it. What more can you ask for?

While I love the car, it is using more gas than an SUV, even though it is a 4 cylinder. It took a while to get Honda to believe me but they finally replaced the computer, catalytic converter and O2 sensor after 2 weeks of testing. But guess what, this didn't fix the problem so they shipped the car to their Toronto engineers for 5 weeks of testing. Surprise, the engineer says the car runs according to spec, Honda says tough luck. Curiously, the spec says 7 Litres/ 100 Km city and 9L highway, I calculate an average of 13L.For US readers this is more than a GM Suburban.

The 2.4 engine on my EX has very nice acceleration from the line, but I find it's lack of passing power a real drawback. At any speed above 45mph, there just isn't any go juce. I also find that it struggles with 4 adults. My biggest complaint is the rear bumper. It seems thin skinned. Someone backed into me and left a ugly crease in it. The damage was cause because of the supports under the bumper. More foam padding would have helped here. I also can feel engine vibration through the steering wheel at 1000-1200 RPM's. All in all, these are minor complaints. The car is excellent overall.

While this car seems like a great deal, it's not everything it seems. It's definitely fun to drive, but the brake pads and/or rotors have been repaired or replaced 3 times in 15 months of ownership, with no fix in sight. This is not an isolated problem--many 2003/2004 owners are in the same boat. The transmission is currently under recall as well. Though I like the feel of the car, the continuing brake issues are just too much. It's really a shame.

I've had 3 Hondas & this is the worst one. I have encountered a brake recall, transmission recall and now the audio unit has a service bulletin because the display has gone out. I had to call Honda Customer Service and they agreed to foot the labor bill plus the unit cost. Long distance mileage is good, appearance of car is great. Mechanically unsound.

I looked at and drove a BMW 330i, Audi A4, Infiniti G35, and VW Passant GLX. I looked at an Accord last only because I have been unsure of the exterior styling. The truth is that on an overall scale the Accord is 95% of the car of the BMW and Audi (except for the status label) but at 65% of the cost. At the fact that I only had one very small problem in 5.5 years with my old EX V6 and the Accord is unbeatable. Incidentally the ride quality is quite balanced and good and certainly not mushy - I have no idea what car Edmonds drove.

The Accord is the best deal for the money. It is truly a luxury car at an affordable price. Honda reliability is what sold me and the safety. No other car in its class has the fuel economy, resale or world class looks. The Passat was sluggish and small inside. The Altima had cheap looking interior and the Camry drove like "your Father's Oldsmobile".

Its been a year since I've posted a review on my Accord, and well, I am still very satisfied. Being a Sophmore in high school with wants to have the fastest car a 4 cyl. just doesn't fill my appetite, but since I am buying it from my parents for a GREAT price, with only 25,000 miles, I am ecstatic to get this car. I have had a great time driving this car. I have some minor issues with it but the dealer is great and I love the fit and finish of the car.

For a good year now i was trying to decide what kind of coupe i wanted to buy. The main choices were the Nissan 350z and the Honda Accord Coupe. The choice was easy with the accord coupe seating 5 vs 2. and the unleaded regular vs premium. In the long run i think my choice of the Accord Coupe would of been a better decision. Quality, good design, and practical applications make all the difference.

This is our 2nd Accord (we bought one in May 2003). The Accord has many standard features that are extra on Camry. Didn't consider the Maxima because of the premium fuel requirement. Didn't consider the Altima because of reviews of the "noisy" 4 cyclinder engine. The Altima V6 is the same as the Maxima V6, so it would requre premium gas so the Altima was out of the question. Toyota has ABS as extra?!?! You must be kidding. Interior design of Accord is much better than the Camry.

Honda finally got it 100% right for this market. Great value for your money. I paid $25,900 for my Accord w/ Navi. Interior is clean and functional, and very roomy. Great layout of dials and switches (except moonroof switches). Exterior is clean, and growing on me. I have not liked Accord styling in the past. This is truly an outstanding deal for the money, and easily outweighs buying a more prestigious brand like a BMW 3 series, or Infiniti G35, which is what I was originally interested in.

Having several family members who own Honda Accords it has been my "dream" to have one of my own. The car has been all I expected and hoped for. It really handles well on the interstate and in town. I was pleased by the gas milage I got driving mostly in town the first week. It got 28 miles to the gallon and that is a big plus to me. I am still finding all the "little" extras it has to offer such as the seat being able to be adjusted up and down. All in all its a very pretty car and I highly recommend one to anyone in the market who is looking for a reliable car.

I had issues with the original brakes pads and rotors for the first 15,000 miles which cause other problems. (I purchased aftermarket pads and rotors. This fix my other problems. Who would have guees it.) My other issue involves the fuel tank sending unit (the fuel gauge). My fuel gauge is off by 4 gallons on 17.1 gallon tank. From my experience, serveral local Honda dealerships will do almost everything to put off doing warranty work. When American Honda get involved, they can not make their dealerships to perform any work. By the way, fuel gauge can be more than 20% according to American Honda. Otherwise, it is a good car.

I went for the 2.4L 4cyl. 5spd manual EX-L (leather) version. It has everything I wanted...well, almost everything...I added a rear spoiler and mudguards..and I can't wait. The drop in hp from my Eclipse (205) to the 160hp of the Accord is ok for me; it handles superbly.

I recently bought an 03 Accord LX 4dr 5-speed 4cyl, June 2008. I love the reliability of this vehicle. The gas mileage is great on the highway or in the city. With 25+ MPG, it is quite the gas saver. There are hundreds of after market modifications for this vehicle, making upgrading fun and a must. The interior is well laid out with an exterior that's just as well. The Accord is bigger and roomier than the civic making it a more comfortable ride. Options such as cruise control, steering wheel volume control, 5-disc changer and CD player add to the versatility and comfort. I love the fact that oil changes are needed only every 5,000 miles. For the price, an 03 LX was the best option for me.

I keep wondering why I didn't buy a Honda sooner. The four door EX with the four banger sprints nicely. There is plenty of room for the family. On the first tank of gas we got 33 mpg on the highway as promised by the sticker. The handling is precise. The brakes are excellent. It has a sunroof, 6 disc in dash cd. And it looks great. Why did I insist on driving Fords, Olds, Pontiac and Lincoln for years? Who knows. Will I ever go back? Perhaps. Will I buy another Honda? Certainly. Oh, and don't forget the price. I drove away for the sticker price of 23k. Excellent.

My first and second cars were both Ford Mustangs first a 6cyl then a GT. I initially wanted a lower car payment and I liked the Honda Accord. So I tool a look. This car is fantastic! I love the get up and go... I don't miss the GT much at all. Back seat room is great for a 2 door. It is super quiet and peppy for a 4 cyl. I love Hondas now after always been exposed to American cars all my life, I can tell you I will never go back. Honda's are built to last. I love the quietness of this car.
