Honda Believer
My second Accord. Previous was 1990 coupe. The 2003 is more comfortable and quieter with a softer ride but feels less sporty than the 1990. The car feels very safe to drive and is easy to control. The 4cyl 160 hp has a lot of pep from the start but slower to accelerate at hwy speeds, probably due to the computer controlled throttle which Honda claims maximizes your mpg (the 6cyl is still a direct cable), however, I get approx 28 mpg avg with 60/40 hwy/city driving! Overall a very well thought out machine and easy on the environment, another winner!
Review
Excellent car. Fantastic price. Drives like a dream. The Leather package does the trick.

Terrific Value
I purchased an EXV6 coming out of an Audi A6 lease. I'm amazed at the quality, ease of control, general comfort and feature list. It is not the driver's car that the A6 is, nor does it pretend to compete at that level, but for $12,000 LESS than the Audi...? I am VERY happy with this car and won't miss the oh-so-familiar Audi service department one bit.
Best Accord Ever?
This is the best Accord ever. The Exterior design is eye catching. It's so fun to drive. There's so many features.
always buy a honda
I just bought this car two days ago!! I can't believe how it drives. We feel very safe in the car. I am glad I bought it. We looked at the civic, but for only $48 more a month we got the accord. The interest rates are the best. At 2.9%, my payments were low and all I put down was $500. It is roomier than the last year's styles. We had a 93 accord for 8 years and it never failed. Go for it. Honda's don't die.

Over all a great car!!
Good Job, Honda
From the shapely rear end to its sporty stance and performance, the car is a sports coupe with a nice helping of refinement. The interior is comfortable and intuitive to the driver's needs.
Honda Accord LX 2003
I bought an Accord LX, but underneath its a "plush" BMW... I keep reminding myself its a Honda.
Luxury/dependability for under 30 K!
I can't begin to tell you how impressed I am with this car! We have found it to be a perfect formula of handling, horsepower, torque, fit and finish, comfort, quality, and price. Trust me when I say I looked at EVERYTHING on the market. This Accord won hands down. I'm VERY impressed with this car, and I'm not easily impressed.
I love mine
Extremely fun car to drive. Very responsive, but could use some work in the handling department. Otherwise sharp design especially with the OEM bodykit. Very nice comfortable interior design as well.
excellent
well the best part i love about my honda is the comfort and peace of mind this car is stylish and sporty and has a good kick when you put the pedal to the metal. This car has been my best perchase so far and i hope to keep buying honda for many more years.
Clase y Mas
My first car was a 1979 Honda Accord 4dr and that was back on 1987, when my father gave me the car to go to my last year of High School and for College. Since then I always owned Honda's, and my latest acquisition is this 2003 EXV6 Accord which I believe is the best car anyone can obtain for the price. I consider the Honda Accord to be the most reliable and with the best performance you can obtain. Trust me when I tell you that you can buy an Accord without any regret.
Great Car!
Have had the car for a couple of weeks and love it.
The sporty/luxury LX V6 Coupe
The Accord 2-Dr LX V6 has 240-hp of responsive power, allowing it to leap from the stop position and outrace many of the cars on the road. The interior comfortably fits three of my friends, has a great console and factory installed stereo system, and the telescoping steering wheel is a bonus. Interior is A+ I gave the vehicle a 8/10 in exterior design. While it has smooth curves and tight panel spacing, I think something could be done with the rear end of the vehicle to make it look more aggressive. Also, when is Honda going to make more accessories available for Accords?
Luxurious Rocket at Value Price
The 2003 Accord Coupe has the absolute best fun/performance/luxury/value equation in the under $25K category, bar none. It has distinctive "love it or hate it" styling which I think is swoopy and sumptuous. The 240 hp V6 is eager, the handling confident, if not up to slot-car standards. The interior's rich leather envelops occupants, wonderfully. Minor gripe is the occasional mysterious squeak from the vicinity of where the headliner meets the windshield. But a fabulous job, nonethless.
This is a true beauty!!
I really like this car. I think Honda did a pretty good job. I belive it's the best car for the money. Not only that it's a Honda so you know you are buying a great car!
A Well Oiled Machine
I bought my Accord to replace a leased 2000 VW Passat. The Accord doesn't ride as well or feel as solid as the Passat did, But I know it won't fall apart Like the Passat did. Too bad because VW could rule the world if they had the quality and reliability most Japanese brands have.
Accord V-6 EX Coupe 6M
I found a V-6 6M Coupe by chance after having given up the search. Had second thoughts about trading in my 2000 Civic Si, but that didn't last long. After commuting with the Accord for a month, 70 mi. a day, I don't know how I lived without it. For me it is a perfect combination of luxury, comfort, style and performance. So far, I can find nothing negative to say about this car.
Fourth Accord
Car handles beautifully but has more road noise than 97 Accord I traded in.Transmission very smooth.Ride well controlled.
One Hell of a car
I have owned a 1990 Honda Accord Ex and 1996 Civic Ex and find the newly designed Honda V6 to be the best yet. With a 240 horsepower engine it can compete with the Infinity G35 and BMW 530I. This car is worth every penny and more.
Great Car Fairly Low Price
Honda has once again refined an already good car. We love it.
2003 Honda Accord EX V6 with leather
The accord is everything rolled into one. It is fast, fun, and powerful yet dependable and you tend to forget that it is a family sedan. Sure if I had more money I would buy a Lexus, Mercedes, or Jaguar; but for the price the accord is a bargain over the camry, maxima, and passat.
Great car
Great car for the money. The 240 hp engine has plenty of power while getting excellent fule economy at the same time. This car has more power, room, and many more features than the 1995 EXVL I previously owned and a lower MSRP. It can be beat for the money.
Accord, Is that You ?!
Received delivery 1 week ago. Yet to have a good assessment.
Never another Chrysler product
How did I live without my navigation sytem? Even living in the same area 40 years, I'll still need it to find out of the way places. In Ft. Lauderdale, which is laced with canals, it was invaluable in getting me around them. The pick and go has gotten me in trouble with the law; first speeding ticket since I started to drive at 16 (now 62).
Very impressed with this Accord
I picked the 2003 Accord EX-V6 over the 2003 V-6 Altima and the 2004 Maxima. It was clearly the best value amongst the three, and I was able to get a great month-end deal from a dealer. This car is bigger and smoother than my 2000 Acura TL.
Honda did it right
While the new design took some getting used to, I now think it's beautiful - what I would describe as the Japanese/Euro look. With a strong power train and a VERY comfortable interior, this is a well-thought out and designed car. I haven't bought a US model in 30 years (I drive plenty of them as rental cars). My wife and I have had several Toyotas, one Nissan and two Acuras. This Accord joins the list of excellent, solid, reliable cars produced by the Japanese Big 3.
File
my experience has been uniformly excellent
Great job done for 2003 Honda Accord 2.4
Excellent Engine that gives a great speed and performance with amazing fuel efficiency and the best interior design. Excellent build quality.
a great car
a great car for the money i got the dealer down to invoice price for a 2003 honda accord ex auto for 20,620
my 1st month
great car - lots if power good handling- one flaw from factory - hate i had to pay sticker
I want my Camry back!
I traded in my Camry (with 139,000 mi.) for the Honda. I regret it. Here's why: dealer installed tint shred, car delivered dirty - once cleaned, I found dings and scratches that took the dealership 3X to fix, lights have almost gone out 2X, wheel cover busted off while driving, power outlet went out once, two factory recalls, wrong size brake pads put on at factory caused jerking and are getting replaced, alternator shreaks and will be replaced when it worsens, motor mounts were not correct from factory and caused the whole car to shake and were replaced. It has been in the shop more than I have driven it. I want my Camry back!!!
As Nice As Can Be
I looked at Acura TL, Lexus ES300, & M-B C320 (not BMW cuz my '99 328i just came off lease & wanted a change)- the Accord was a better car with more features, more power and nicer interior for less money. It's very comfortable - I'm 6'1" & 260 lbs - it's roomy and quite powerful. Handles decent and the interior is top rate, even if wood is fake. Love the nav system. It really helped on a recent trip to So. Cal. Also the guages are electro-luminescent, nothing else in the class offers that.
Excellent Car, Great Value
Bought new and has been a great value and still fun to drive. Efficient yet powerful enough to daily commute. I've tracked every tank of gas for this car... averages 33 MPG with a 5 speed manual transmission. Replaced front brakes and original tires at about 72,000 miles. Still original rear brakes. Only two problems - catalytic converter and O2 sensor. No other problems. Overall, a great driving experience.
Workingman's Mercedes
There is simply no finer build car on the road than a Honda. The engineering and craftmanship of a Honda are second to none. No other care is more dependable or more fun to drive than a Honda. It is amazing how far ahead of the competition that Honda is and will always be because when you drive one you know it's built by people that care about comfort, value and safty. I personally will own no other car than a Honda no matter what kind of income I may have.
Great Value
This is my 3rd Honda and I must say the best. I only have 1000 miles on it but so far everything is perfect. Great value for the dollar and a terrific dealership. I have driven a Camry, Altima and a couple of domestic sedans but this Honda outclasses all of them
Excellent Car
the honda gives power, confort, very high quality better than the most prestigious german car like audi ( i own a audi A4 2002 also) and reliability at a relativelly low price. good for honda
Not bad...not bad at all...
If you are in the market for a new car then do yourself justice and see the new Accord. The EXL 4cyl is a wonderful car. The V6 was a blast to test drive but the 4 really is a dream. I am getting 26-27 MPG in the city on average after 2 months of ownership. Lot's of get up and go as well. Very pleased. All in all...not bad...not bad at all.
Better than anticipated!
Lots of power, but handling a little spongy compared to VW GTI VR6. Very quiet ride and comfortable seats. Great a/c & heating. Body style is modern and up to date.
It's a super safe car~
My parent bought me this first car as my 19th birthday. Unfortunely I had a big collison on the freeway with one passenger with me. The car was total, all airbags pop out, the amazing new is both of us are safe, only had some minor seatbelt burns. I love the car when i first bought it, after the crash, i love it more because it can truely protect me and my friends from any accidents. I am planing to buy back one next week. The 4cylinder is fast enough for me, so i am not thinking of upgrading it, therefore, i put the money into the interior, i am planing to get the exact same one with the navigation!! (((i miss my car)))
My 2nd Accord
After my experience with my 1992 Honda Accord I knew my replacement had to be a new Accord. I have a 2003 Accord EX V6 coupe. It is fun to drive, I have gotten many positive comments from strangers at gas stations about the design of the car. The car is fun, it feels safe, reliable, it's a Honda. Average 28mpg average driving, as high as 31mpg all highway driving.
Love the NEW Design!
I recently returned the 4-dr sedan and went into the NEW coupe; love it!! The handling is tight and great feeling. The style; Honda did an incredible thing!
JJ's Car
I LOVE THIS VEHICULE, but put more features to it and you will see the improvement on the sales. For a better Accord: Standard Fog Lights Day Lights, Standard V6 or more HP and TQ on the 4 Cyl; Make a V Spec engine if is not patented by Nissan, Entry System with Auto StartA Better Warranty....3yrs or 36,000 miles is not good enough for the quality of this car...Remember if you are sure of the Quality of this vehicule you should make a better Warranty on it.
"WINNAH!"
Honda has done it again with their Accord line. For 2003 the new accord's comfort is unmatched for the price your getting it for. Having experience with a 2002 camry too, although the camry may Look better on the Outside, but never judge a car by its hood!, its whats under the hood and whats in the car(interior kicks A$$) and has more luxury features and more options to customize, the accord is more on the conserviative side and priced and built only with highest quality in mind, still manage to blance out with conserving and FUN to drive:-D
So far so good
I purchased my new Accord LX in 2003. I still average 35 MPH on the freeway. The only problems I have encountered were the gear shift knob ($20) and the brake light switch ($150). So far no transmission problems. Brakes still good.
Excellent Car!
Best Car on the Road! Very Fun to Drive!
Great Looking Car!
After 13 years and two Civics, I finally moved up to the luxurious Honda Accord Coupe, EX-V6 Graphite Pearl. What an excellent value for all that you get in this package. This is truly a quality crafted automobile.
Best car under $25,000
This is our 2nd Accord (we bought one in May 2003). The Accord has many standard features that are extra on Camry. Didn't consider the Maxima because of the premium fuel requirement. Didn't consider the Altima because of reviews of the "noisy" 4 cyclinder engine. The Altima V6 is the same as the Maxima V6, so it would requre premium gas so the Altima was out of the question. Toyota has ABS as extra?!?! You must be kidding. Interior design of Accord is much better than the Camry.
Great car
Honda finally got it 100% right for this market. Great value for your money. I paid $25,900 for my Accord w/ Navi. Interior is clean and functional, and very roomy. Great layout of dials and switches (except moonroof switches). Exterior is clean, and growing on me. I have not liked Accord styling in the past. This is truly an outstanding deal for the money, and easily outweighs buying a more prestigious brand like a BMW 3 series, or Infiniti G35, which is what I was originally interested in.
best car out there
I enjoy driving more than ever with this car! It has such a hot exterior look and the interior desigh tops it off. This car is a mixture of all the hott cars out there today, but has such an orginal look to it. I am so satisfied with my car, i 100% recommend it.
