much better than I expected
fuel mileage is always averaging a hair over 27 mpg for 40k miles everything works with zero repairs almost 7 years I offer friends to drive it and they complement it. One guy who works on a fleet of competitive make small vans He states the Transit Connect is a much better driving vehicle than what he has to deal with. Looking back the Titanium leather really looks good. I should have spent for the upgrade The competitors have a cvt transmission which is vague and sloppy. I'm glad I bought the Transit Connect rear caliper slides locked up at 46,000 miles- first problem new rear pads and rotors free up sliders car wash ate the radio antenna partial trans fluid change at 50k- no real way to drain this vehicle does not have a replaceable fuel filter? still get offers to buy the transit connect Ford will not import this vehicle to the US after 2023 which will keep the resale value up keeps on ticking with zero problems Getting ready for the annual Fla trip I'm replacing the battery because of the time not because of it not being functional why???? is it under the air filter box!!!! this would really suck if it needed to be serviced on the road. Must be an idiosyncrasy that Europeans only know and never explain to Americans Now that the EV mandates are over, I hope the price of ICE powered vehicle batterys come down. Seems like ICE vehicles are subsidizing the EV craze
