Can't see Can't see
I drive this vehicle for a company more the 10 hours a day. I took the veicle from another driver. We used to joke about how many fender benders and hits the old driver had in this vehicle. He always said it's hard to see. Well, he was right I had a spotless driving record prior to taking this vehicle. I have had more near misses in this vehicle and finally a woman sideswiped me as I merged into her lane. I just didn't see her because she was in the huge blind spot over my left shoulder. I'm a professional driver. I signal, look and then proceed. I just couldn't see her. The real fun is the parts department at Ford. There has to be a thousand of these Transit Connects running around yet they don't carry the parts. More than that they are like all Ford crap parts! way over priced.

This van is a joke
I use a Transit at work transporting college students around. I have never been more disappointed with a new car. the only pros are the goofy look, which I like, and the head room. Everything else on the van is awful. The steering is extremely stiff to the point my hands hurt toward the end of my shift. The seats are very uncomfortable and don't have the right kind of support you need to sit in a car for long periods of time. The van i use has 30k miles on it and it has 1 hubcap left on it. It has been in the shop numerous times for brake issues and electrical problems. I have hope for the new redesigned ones but these cars are junk and are way to overpriced.

I use mine commercially and have had 2
I use mine for commercial audio, video and lighting work. I've had two and run them both to high mileage. They have been very reliable. They do not have a ton of power so I you have a heavy foot or no patience this might not be for you. I'm impressed with it's ability to handle weight and like the layout. I hate the remote door locks and the fact that the back doors are treated as if they were a trunk. If you get into the cab you can unlock the back side doors, this is very foolish for a commercial vehicle. Those who have inventory and tools hate this feature.

Ford transit connect
VI have this car since 2012. Took it new. There was a problem with the transmission in the warranty scream. Repaired by a dealer. The first time a week, the second time 4 days. After a warranty period of 71,000 miles, the transmission collapsed completely, after I reached the workshop, they could not move the car. Transmission parts are made of some kind of light alloy. It is magnetized, but very fragile. This repair cost me $ 3,000. Now I have a mileage of 82,000 miles, jerking again begins when shifting when shifting to slow gear. This is especially noticeable when climbing. The car is weak and unreliable. Another problem with the battery. I already have a 4th battery, because the warranty on this type of battery is only 2 years.only

Buyers Beware
The first and last ford product and/or vehicle I will ever own. In my 40 plus years of driving I never owned a ford, and now I know why. Unfortunately at the time I was looking for this type of vehicle, no other automotive manufacturer were producing this type of vehicle and against my better judgement, and need for the type of vehicle I needed, I purchased New a 2013 Ford Transit Connect XLT. Now with only 39,425 miles I had another recurring incident with the rear window blowing out because of an electrical issue with the rear window defrosting system, this is the second time in less than two years it's happened, and ford will do nothing to help in anyway. This is only one of the many issues I've had with this vehicle. And the ford company will not help in any matter, not even a letter with an explanation, NOTHING. This in my opinion is very very terrible service and/or public relarelations. I've owned many vehicles in my time and never have I had any issue personally or with mechanical problems like I've experienced with the Ford Motor Company and/or it's dealerships. I will never ever buy or recommended anyone to purchase a ford product.
