Used 1997 Ford Taurus Sedan Consumer Reviews
i'd like a new car but i can't afford on
my car ran great for the first 8 or 9 months that i've had it and I try to keep it service on a regular basis, but now it's started shaking in the front end and pulls hard to the left.
do all fords suck?
problems with the transmission, motor, battery, speed sensor, door panels, heater, windshield wipers, power seats, 2 tires were on the car were the wrong size, and head gaskets, there is more but i lost track.
Great car for the money
I purchased my Taurus in 1998 used with 24,000 miles. I was extremely surprised with the power and handling for a domestic car. On the highway the car gets 30 miles to the gallon, and 20 in the city. It's held up extremely well, and is still going strong at 112,000 miles.
Amazing Product
This car was designed to be the most comfortable ride of 1997. As far as reliability goes, my car has sputtered before and had trouble accelerating, but only on occasion and only while cold, but all cars will do that after 100,000 miles. Amazing car, it's got all of the features a consumer needs and average gas mileage. I've repaired the car, but only at the mileage where it would be expected.
ford
Overall a good, safe, and comfortable car. Road handling is bit poor.
