Caveat Emptor
I,m sure some people drive their Taurus and have no problems, not me. Steering wheel locked @ 30k miles, engine mounts broke @ 36k(Ford would not fix them even though I feel this was not normal wear and tear). Coolant hoses blew while on vacation @ 50k, coil and module failed @60k(close to home fortunately), several of the power window buttons do not function and the windsheild washer pump works occasionally. To its credit the exterior has held up very well and there is no rust yet, although a few trim pieces have come lose and I had to glue them back on.
Ford
Good. I love the V6 engine and its really fast.

1995 Ford Taurus GL
Probably the worst car I've owned. Radiator went out, electric fan motor went out, transmission feels funny and makes a huge jolt when going from park to reverse/drive. I would not recommend this front-wheel drive car to anyone. Do yourself a favor... buy a Crown Victoria or Chev Lumina.
Great Car
109k in Mexico! This is a great car! Still runs like a clock
not too bad
under warranty had transmission leak, heater fan problems..and a speedometer cable problem..after warranty replaced the radiator and cooling fan, has been very dependable for 8 yrs.
