Worst vehicle I’ve ever had
I’ve owned 4 other cars, all older than 20 years with at least 170,000 miles on them. None of them has been the headache my Ford Ranger has been for the past year of owning it. Keep in mind I drive a single cab, inline 4, standard 2 wheel drive model. Within a year of owning it I have replaced; Both front wheel bearings and hubs, both front shocks, ac compressor, ac compressor pulley twice, serpentine belt 5 times due to other pulley issues, radiator fan clutch pulley, radiator fan, radiator and all new hoses, refilled Freon for ac multiple times, transmission fluid, rear differential fluid, new gaskets for rear diff and oil pan, new coil pack twice, spark plugs, wires, battery, starter, alternator, and is currently in the shop for a cracked air intake manifold. For it being the newest vehicle I’ve owned it’s been the absolute worst. Would do anything to talk someone out of buying one, and will not buy any Ford vehicles. Update one year later. I still refuse to trust a ford. Getting rid of that piece of shit was the best thing I’ve done. I’m sure other people have the polar opposite opinions and experiences, but for me I will never give ford another chance.

Fun to drive
This is the basic model. The only extra is an AC. It is fun to drive. I love it. Easy handling and good gas milage (almost 27).
