2018 Mustang GT 6 speed manual performance pack

I got a base GT manual with the performance pack. The base model came loaded by my standards with lots of features. Cruise control, power every thing etc. I had a 2003 WRX and this car is as fun to drive and I'm averaging 23mpg! The GT performance pack is well worth the price. Insane brembo brakes, larger radiator (florida), sport tuned suspension, larger sway bars, strut brace, k braces underneath, a torson rear diff with 3.73 gears, and really awesome michelin sport tires. I got it for 38000$ total out the door and am very pleased so far. I took it to Daytona Supercross and it was rediculous on the interstate. 60 miles in no time...the car wants to run!

3 days after I purchased my 2018 mustang GT the dealer had to take it back to replace the engine. The number 3 cylinder was bad. The car did OK for a few months but then the same noises returned. I took it back to the dealer only to discover that Ford has issued a technical bulletin instructing their dealers not to attempt to repair. The noise keeps getting worse and Ford's attitude is basically "F.U."

Run, don't walk from this car.

This car will be the last Ford I ever buy. With under 2,000 miles the engine blew. When I got it back the transmission started to give me problems as well as the car had various interior rattles. With under 3,000 miles that piece of garbage had more problems than a 200,000 mile Toyota. Ford was AWFUL during the experience. I urge you as a consumer to research it yourself and you'll find this isn't unique to the Mustang. It is prevalent throughout Fords entire lineup and their customer service failures are as common as their vehicles dependability issues.

Beware of Faulty LCD Panels on 2018 Mustang GT's

My LCD panel on my 2018 Mustang GT went out in February. Purchased my vehicle in December. Ford told me part is on backorder and will not be available until April. I was given Ford Edge as my loaner - go figure. I asked if I could get comparable Mustang GT while it will take two months to get my brand new GT back and was told they couldn't do this. I have escalated to Ford Executive Offices because this just isn't right. I'm a first time Ford owner of this vehicle and needless to say this will be the last time I purchase a Ford. I am so unhappy with all that has transpired. Just thought I would warn all consumers of 2018 Ford Mustang GT's.

Best Cars I Have Owned

This is my third Mustang, I owned a 2014 Ford Mustang V6, 2014 Ford Mustang GT, and my present 2018 Ford Mustang GT. I enjoyed all three Mustangs, each with their own specialties. My 2018 Mustang GT (Lightning Blue, 6-speed man.) has great performance, power (460HP & 420 ft./lb. of torque), handles very well and when you push the pedal it nearly flies. I think the 'mpg' I will get is great (only have 1700 miles on car), especially for the power output (est. 18 city-26 hwy). Where the question of snow/traction is concerned, I don't take my GT out in the snow. The V6 I had was getting approx. 25/37 and my 2014 GT, was getting about the same as what I expect for my 2018 GT. I am totally satisfied with my GT. I go to several car shows- American Muscle at the Maple Grove Raceway, the Ford Nationals at Carlisle, and a few local shows and some in other states. I also own a 2018 Ford F-150, Lightning Blue and same LeMans Racing Stripes w/red pin stripe. Also has the Coyote V8, 395 hp engine, and Fuel Wheels.
