Used 1998 Ford Mustang Coupe Consumer Reviews
Mustangs Are Worth the $
I bought my 1998 GT in May of 2001 with only 21,000 miles. I have done alot of mods to my jet black pony and I love blowing the doors off the camaros and slow imports that race their lawn mower engines at me. The car is built excellent, and it can defintely take a beating. I havent had any problems with my car and i love the looks and the thumbs up that I get every time i drive it. I would definetely recommend a Mustang GT or Cobra (like my brother has) over a Camaro or ANY import.
VERY GOOD!
Very slick, Very nice ride, Average on gas, very peppy car when needed, A GOOD buy

Not Bad
Not a bad car. Fun to drive but surely lacking on the power. We upgraded to a GT after about a year. Had nice comfortable seats.
Love my 'Stang
I have owned a few Mustangs over the years, but the 96-98's are my favorite. This is my first GT and I love the 4.6 liter powerhouse. It has a nice rumbling exhaust and is very quick! This Mustang GT gets 24 in town and close to 30 mpg on the hwy... not sure why edmunds only says 15 cty and 24hwy... any way the car handles great accelerates quickly and is just fun, fun, fun!!!
V6 98
Ive had no problems what so ever with my car, the 0 60 on this site says 9.9sec....well i can do mine in 7.9sec stock so guess a grandpa was driving this car when they tested it. It does well for a 6, i have the 5 speed and it does....cough....more than i thought it would, lightin' em up infront of some camaros and firebirds makes em think I got an 8. But well the 6 mustang can beat the 6 camaro and firebirds anyway. But I love the options for aftermarketing for the mustang line.
