Overall this is a very reliable car. It performs well in all kinds of conditions. Once you figure out the car's quirks, they are not that bad. I am a sales rep and drive about 55,000 miles per year. I have had my car since June 2013 and it has over 80,000 miles. It has the original brakes. The original tires needed to be changed at 50K. The car has push button start. It is the only thing on the car that failed that I would consider outside normal maintenance/wear-tear. The dealership had to fix this. Don't buy this car if you expect superior fuel economy. I drive 80% highway. I average 23.7 miles per gallon.

Expected Better MPG, but is fun to drive.

Ive had this car about 3 weeks now, and im pretty happy overall. The suspension system allows for nice handling, and it seems more agile than the car size implies. The power is decent, but seems like it could use another 20 horses or so. I expected some turbo lag, but its really not as bad as some of the other turbos ive driven. The car looks and feels as if it should be in the luxury class and seems much better than the Altima 3.5, Camry, and Jetta that i drove. In the few 3 hour road trips ive taken (90% thruway and highway), i averaged about 24 mpg - much lower than expected. I used regular gas and drove 74 and 64 mph. This car is too fun to drive making it tough to milk for mpg.

Fusion Melds Tech, Performance and Safty

Mine is 2013 ford Fusion Titanium with econ boost, Has all the tech packages available. long list including Adaptive cruise control letting you set how many car length you want to stay behind car in front of you. Car will brake if vehicle in front slows quickly or stops etc Lane assist is like car provided "road rumble" steering vibrates. Then a very slight push toward the center of the lane. Great once going over 35 mph and on fairly straight roads as it is not going do more then 10% turn. I attempted to drive with hand just placed off the wheel to test car got a beep and notice on dash saying" keep your hands on the wheel" very cool You can easily disable or change sensitivity and amount of feed back you receive. The rumble can be more intense. Icon showing steaming cup of coffee, Cool feature if car detects your tired it will ding and a display will show "cup of steaming coffee "are you ready to get refreshed" This can happen if you change lanes quickly or fail to use blinker.

I bought the 2013 Fusion Titanium AWD. I cant say I've ever owned a Better car. I did get a performance tune and cold air intake at about 105k miles. Car drives like new and now over 140k and not one issue. I love my car "Stella".:)

Lots of people have been complaining about MPG on their new Fusion. I am getting around 24 average MPG, and live in Minnesota where it has been below zero every night since I bought the car! I went from a F150 with ecoboost to the Fusion because of the bold design, AWD, and did not have the use for the truck anymore. People need to give their new car a little more time before it starts producing the rated MPG. It doesn't happen in the first tank of gas.
