Ford Fusion is Awesome

So far, we're very pleased with our Bordeaux Reserve Red Metallic Fusion with the Light Stone Leather interior. Color in and out is stunning. 175hp 4cyl powerplant is more than adequate for my daily needs, and it's very rev-happy. Passing power is like a V6. Mileage is 28+ before break-in. Very cool. 6-speed auto shifts confidently and seamlessly. Ambient Lighting and electroluminescent guages are sweet; make the interior look like a Tron Cycle. Sony stereo is very nice- bass-y enough and clear. The Fusion handles like a Focus and is the quietest car I have ever owned. All in all, we are very pleased and look forward to spending the next 10 years or so in its cabin.

I bought the car used in February 2014. I drove the car for 6 and half years and when I say I drove the car, I mean I drove the car. I have serious road rage and I have 2 super speeder tickets so I have a lead foot. I put over 120000 miles on the car in the time I had it and the motor was still running strong, no knocking or smoking, wasn't using oil. To be a 4 cylinder it had balls and would not disappoint on take off and once going the inside cabin was quiet and the car rode smooth. The reason I finally got a new car was bc my air conditioning messed up and after replacing part after part with nothing fixing it I decided to look for a new car. But I love my car so much that not only did I keep it, I bought another Ford Fusion. I figure if this 2016 is as reliable for as long as the 2011 was then it's well worth buying a new one. I almost cried when my husband took all of my Hello Kitty stuff off of and out of my 2011 so that he could drive it. I absolutely loved my 2011 Ford Fusion the day that I bought it and I loved it just as much on the day that I gave it up for a newer Ford Fusion.

We bought the car new late December 2010. Has 113,000 miles on it and just came back from a trip to Colorado and Branson. We averaged between 34-37 on the interstates while doing our usual 78MPH. Only trouble has been a broken drivers side door handle on the inside last summer, and a power steering problem Ford covered two years ago. My wife insists she will not sell or trade this car. The local dealership says the original brakes are probably good for another 25.000miles. Always buy Shell regular and change the oil every 3,000 miles. Keep it garaged when home in the Arizona heat. Paint still looks brand new and the ginger leather interior shows little wear

Steering problems

I like the car but, I have a major problem with the steering. When I go around curves the steering wheel will not return to center. If I let it alone I would run off the road. I must pull the wheel back to center. This happens either left or right curves. I had the car back to the dealer for repair 3 times. They were not able to fix this problem. I decided to file a claim with my states lemon law. The car had 1,300 miles on it when I discovered the problem. I see this as an accident waiting to happen. I'm hoping Ford will take this car back and give me a car that works.

This is a great car! Researched all the mid size cars and chose the Fusion. Glad I did. Always have been a GM man but this car just is better than the Malibu.
