I've had my 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid for 3 years & 3 months (purchased used 16K (CPO) in September of 2019; now is approaching 41K). Pros on the car are comfort, climate control, safety technology - can't say enough on this) & mileage (40-42 mpg). Aside from purchasing snow tires for it (I live in the northeast), I've done nothing but normal maintenance. Mileage is very good for this size car. Cons: the trunk is oddly shaped and lacks any real space; it could have had a lot more room if they designed it better (like the Prius with no shelf which was my prior car). Front pillars are thick and do hamper visibility. I'm not a fan of the intelligent wipers or the lane keeping assist which I turned off but that's a personal choice. I really like the heated seats, BSM, adaptive cruise control & other features. Acceleration for me is fine, it may be lacking for some people. I got 7 years & 165K out of my previous hybrid (Prius) and felt I could have easily hit 200K. I think hybrids are the way to go.

Needs to be driven at least once every 3 days

2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)

We leased this 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium for our elderly father. He doesn't drive often, but likes to have a car. He found out that if he doesn't drive it every 3 days, the 4th day the car won't start and needs to be jumped. We took it to the dealer and said that this is normal and the car needs to be driven. Has anyone else had this problem?

Worth the bucks

IF your looking for a great commuter car this is it. I average 39 mph on an 80mile round trip commute in rolling hills. If you turn off ECO and hit the gas it takes off just fine, can accelerate up a hill onto the highway with no issues. Switches from battery to gas and back effortless. Mine has apple play gps, all the bells and it is fantastic for commuting.

I purchased this vehicle in 2021 from a rental car company with just over 38,500 miles on it, and I use it for my ride sharing side hustle. No mechanical problems, it’s a real highway cruiser on long distance trips and very quick and nimble in the city My customers really like this car. I’m averaging a range of 43-47 mpg; sometimes I get to 52 mpg. I like all the bells and tech whistles that come with it, too. There’s only one thing I have to put in the Cons section: I wish it had a car jack and compact spare. Other than that, this Blue Oval is a keeper; I wish they would still make these.
