2025 Ford F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab Trims Comparison

Four engines are available: two gasoline V8s and two diesel V8s. A 6.8-liter V8 making 405 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque is standard in the XL, XLT and Lariat. Upgrade to the King Ranch or Platinum trim, and the F-250 includes a 7.3-liter gasoline V8 supplying 430 hp and 485 lb-ft (optional with the XL and XLT). All F-250 models offer a choice between two available turbocharged 6.7-liter diesel V8s. In standard specification, the turbodiesel makes 475 hp and 1,050 lb-ft. A high-output version delivers 500 horsepower and 1,200 lb-ft of torque.

All four engines pair with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard on the base XL. Four-wheel drive is optional on the XL and standard on the rest of the lineup.

XL
Ford equips the no-frills F-250 XL for work-truck duty, so it is light on standard features. The highlights include:
