2002 F250 Lariat Crew Cab 4x4
I purchase the 2002 F250 with only 12,000 miles in 2005. It’s been garbage the worst vehicle I’ve ever purchase! It’s been a rust bucket money pit mistake. Spark plugs blowing out of the block (3), replaced front axles, replaced exhaust system, curse control stopped working after 3 years, replaced ball joints, front links, water pump, thermostat . Electric windows haven’t worked for years. I’ve been buying fords since 1970 but never again, I’m done with bad designs by engineers that don’t have a clue what they’re doing.

A True Truck - Not a Grocery Cart
This is my second F-250 with the V-10. I owned a 5 speed(extended cab), and the new crew cab this time I got with the automatic which works as well, and has no fuel mpg difference, and I m not shifting spilling my coffee. I've driven this truck pulling a heavy enclosed cargo trailer, and have not had any mechanical failure. Minor problems appeared early in ownership, and covered by dealer under warranty. If you need a Real Truck, not a Grocery Cart or Kid Transporter - the superduty is hard to beat by other manufacturers.
7.3L TDiesel
I have owned 4 pickups in my lifetime. None have been as well built as this truck. I compared it to the Chevy 2500HD Diesel.(ha ha) This is a real truck. It has everything I was looking for. Ford has done a great job.
Once it gets started it's a blast
Now mind you I've done just about everything to this beast. KN cold air intake, Edge Performance chip w/on dash module, Weston Nerf bars, etc. now the issues I have is if the engine gets below 65 degrees it won't start except a whole lot of cranking. And then if it is way too cold like below zero it kills the batteries. I've replaced no less than 4 batteries ($90 a pop), 3 alternators ($550 a pop), a refit of the diesel/coolant system ($1800). Right now this thing has turned into a money pit, as i speak it sits dead again on my driveway, and yes it is plugged in, it's always plugged in
Best Truck Ever!!!
I have had this truck now for 5 years. i have gone cross country and and mudding just about any thing you can think of. The reason i bout this truck is because my friends and the 03 and 04 F-250 diesil 6L something but it was garbage. I have never done anything but lift it, oil change, and new tires other wise all the thinds i have done it runs brand new like the day i bought it. It has so much power and the Turbo makes it sound amazing. My best friend has a Dodge Ram 1500 diesil and i can go so many more places faster and eaiser. i would buy this truck agian and not a newer one the 1999-2002 is the year u want trust me!
