Ford makes a good truck but could focus on quality
This is my second full size truck and have waited a long time to be able to afford this truck. For the most part it is an awesome truck, great to drive, extremely comfortable, great towing and the interior is very well designed (screen could be higher res and bigger). I have had a couple quality issues, primarily with the transmission. I am hopeful that it is part of the vehicle break in period.

Fit and finish not what it should be or used to be
I have an issue with the fit of the box side and the bed on my new truck. My dealer said it is normal to see the pavement through the bottom of the box on my 2020 F-150 because of the large gap between the side of the box and the bottom of the box.. Ford said to just call another dealer. I would appreciate knowing if that's how they build them now so i can get the dealer to throw in a tube of caulk to fix it.

Perfect for me.
This Platinum trim includes too many options to list here. Active trailering and safety features are impressive. Luxurious and attractive interior is great. Bang and Olson plays the tunes. The 3.5 liter Ecoboost engine has loads of torque to pull heavy trailers.

Big Red
This King Ranch F150 is an outstanding truck. It handles great, rides smooth, and is very quiet. The interior is luxurious and is just a sharp-looking cabin. The V8 power is fantastic and has that throaty noise. All around a great truck. After owning it for a year this F150 just keeps on getting better, as the fuel economy has gotten better by 3 mpg and just the driving experience is excellent.

Beautiful truck with Transmission issues
King Ranch 3.6L Turbo: I love the truck but seems to be riddled with transmission issues; however, now with 25,000 miles seems to be better but still has harsh gear changes at times. The auto / stop feature leaps forward when engine starts (this was an issued that last for a couple of months and then just stopped occurring - Ford Dealer had not ideas why it occurred ). The screen should be HD and larger. The leather seats are the most comfortable of any truck I have driven. The engine is impressive and the towing is great. The bigger concern is the hard shifting of the transmission, makes me pause about buying another Ford. From what I understand that is common with all 10 speed transmissions.
