PCM Firmware Damages Cam Phasers
Only 33k miles in, and the the Powertrain Control Module firmware caused damaged to the Phasers in my truck. Now it shudders upon acceleration. In the fall of 2021 Ford released a bulletin notifying a need to update the PCM firmware, however they are unwilling to remedy Phasers that have already been damaged. Replacing the phasers is a $3,000+ repair that their software caused. This response by Ford is unacceptable.

Info system needs overhaul
I’ve had my truck 2 years (24k miles) this week and it’s been in the shop 4x steering control / radio / phone freezing. I have to pull over turn the truck off to get in unfrozen. Also had transmission looked at 2x due to hard shifting. This is my 3rd and last FORD. Lives up to “fix or repair daily”.

Still Impressed
I've had my F-150 for about 1 1/2 years. I still enjoy it as much as the day I took delivery. It remains to be very solid, with not squeaks and/or rattles. I've also found it to be quite reliable and inexpensive to maintain. Very functionable. I'm still very happy with my choice.
