Great, reliable truck.
Just sailed thru 100k miles without a hitch. No breakdowns, no repairs ever needed. I follow the Ford service schedule closely and that has paid off. Would have given 5 stars but gas mileage has recently fallen to slightly less than advertised,, just under 20 mpg average on EcoBoost engine and also only has 5.5 ft bed, not 6.5, which would have been better.

2013 f150 Crew cab limited 3.5 l twin turbo
I only have about 68,000 miles on this truck which is very low for the age but it is one of the best trucks I've owned plenty of power loaded with options never had a problem but I do keep up with the maintenance oil changes tire rotations everything Ford recommends I get a lot of compliments on the looks of the truck and driving forwards for close to 40 years I've tried Chevy Dodge had a lot of problems Dodge transmission Chevy fuel pump wiper motor AC compressor electrical problems all this with less than 70,000 never again Chevy very happy with the truck I have. I understand there's a lemons in every manufacturer of vehicles I guess I've either been lucky or it's the fact I take great care of my vehicles have to they're so expensive.

Buy a tundra the 3.5 is junk
Bought the truck used with 80,000 miles on it at 97,000 the cam phasers and timing chain needed to be replaced at the cost of 4.500 dollars. Now at 118,000 miles it needs to be done again. Also just replace the water pump and 2 of the o2 sensors. The rockers and cab corners are also rotten. Worst truck I’ve ever owned. There’s a lot more problems but I don’t have all day to write a book. Run the other direction stay away from The ecoboost motors!!!!

Buy a Tundra or RAM
My wife and I really like our Fusion and so I thought I give the F-150 a chance. I liked the way it drove and some of the options and decided to buy it. After my first two months of ownership, I've had one recall, a driveshaft vibration and the gas gauge is all over the place. The Ford's suspension absorbs bumps better than my old Tundra but the Ford tranny hunts more often than the bulletproof Tundra driveline and the 5.0L is no match for Toyota's 5.7L. It's these initial quality issues with Ford that drive buyers crazy. Ford's F-150 division still doesn't get the importance of initial quality. I'm forced to suck it up and keep this truck for a few years until I can buy another Tundra!
