Used 2006 Ford F-150 SuperCab Consumer Reviews
Not a Bad Truck
I am about to return this vehicle off a lease. I have put 60000km on it. The only thing it has needed was blower motor and a new Ford symbol on the front (from rock and salt). This truck otherwise has been reliable as hell. Although it is very slow off the line. I found it pulled just as hard with the a double snowmobile trailer loaded. Very bad fuel mileage with the trailer on.
Perfect at 38k miles
yes, mileage not so good, but it is heavy. 16 mpg highway, 14 city, less in the winter. Towing 6k pound trailer on highway 13 mpg, not too bad considering total weight over 13k pounds with people/gear. Sad to hear of other peoples problems, but at 37k miles been perfect, not a thing wrong. No wet carpet, 3rd brake light fine no leak, rear window no squeak.

Great Truck
No problems so far. Great looks and nice quiet ride. Getting good mileage 15.5 in town 18.0 highway.
Trouble from the start DEALER ONLY
This is my 6th Ford truck and like all the rest, I really enjoy this one. Nice to have a vehicle with leg room for a large person of 6'5" FINALLY. We Americans are large people why are you taking away the leg room? Sorry! This vehicle is a good buy. When I purchased it, the check engine light was on and the dealer let me leave with it that way. Telling me to give it a few days to see if it clears. Yes, that's what they told me. As might guess, it never cleared. Back to the dealer twice in 3 weeks to resolve the matter, they still have it. I found the tail pipe was bent and kinked. No one there listens but the exhaust is not able to escape properly.
2006 F-150 Review
My experience with my F-150 was the worst experiance I have ever had with a vehicle. The build quality was extremely poor. Within the first 6 months all fuel injectors had to be replaced. The stitching on the front seats came apart not once but twice! The headliner came apart. The outside mirror fell off as I was driving. My exp. with the dealership regarding these issues was also poor. It will be the last Ford vehicle I ever have!
