I bought the truck new in sep of 2004. I have put all 81000 miles on the truck. I had to replace both electric window mechanisms for 155.00 a piece did the labor myself. Brakes squeak when they get hot. Not a big deal. Truck runs just like new. I use mobil 1 oil and I don't use the truck much for hauling loads. Always starts, hot or cold, good fuel mileage 17/22. No leaks. I am still driving on the original michelin tires and they still look good.

Well so far, the transmission has acted up, been in the shop 3 times (curretnly there) the tail light was replaced from condensation, the window squeaks when going down, it needed an allignment at purchase, the plastic around the steering column is warper(and on other trucks too). This has been a nightmare the worst Ford I have EVER owned. The 4.6 is way underpowered even for my reg cab so i pity people with s/c's and super crews. GOOD LUCK!

I keep my trucks for a long time. Once I drove the new Ford I had to hve one. The power is great, the styling captures alot of looks from drivers of all makes. If this F150 gives me the same service as my 93' model then I'd have to say I got my monies worth. There's no better looking truck on the road.
