I have owned nothing but Land cruisers and Mercedes and this is the first pickup I have ever owned. I bought this FX4 for my business which required a 4x4 pickup and at first I was a bit nervous about buying an American vehicle due to all my friends having problems with theirs, but I have got to say that I LOVE THIS TRUCK! I sold my new E Class Mercedes and now I drive this truck everywhere and the 4x4 is awesome!. Ford really does make great trucks....I LOVE THIS TRUCK! PS: Great on the gas for being a truck and I think it is awesome how Ford's manual transmission requires only regular gasoline. I think I am going to go and buy a ranch now. Thanks Ford!

Been a GM Man for many years.I bought the 150 because of price being Gm was 3000 more .The V-6 Has more horsepower than the 350 I was drove for 10 years. The sport package added some nice features cheap. The transmission is by far the smoothest Ive seen.Fuel mileage is also good.It will take a few problem- free years before Ill say I love my Ford But So far so good.

Talk about Ford Tough Trucks, I was rear ended at approx. 20 miles per hour at impact. The trailer light reciever was bent back, and the very strong hitch reciever and rear bumber took the brunt of the inpact and the other vehicle was severely damaged. I was totally surprised and very happy that my truck took such an impact with so minor damage. My rear bumper is as straight as new. The luxury seats with headrest took very good care of me. The truck absorbed the shock, I hardly felt anything. The 5.4L engine really has the torgue and power. Passing cars on two way highways feels so reassuring and comfortable.

The but is when you fix all the issues that were piling up it sits there and is about to stand up and tap dance for you-and on regular gas if you can choose a standard, non-supercharged V8 (if you must have the most power, you have to spend more money.) Turns out after doing routine maintenance and tightening the suddenly very loose air intake mechanism together it's back happy and as long as that is the case, the idiot light should go off once we reset it-could finally tell that we had a vacuum leak but couldn't tell where it was coming from, and the spark plugs had never been replaced. It's running like a top now, in every way. We're stuck with it now.
