Purchased used 2002 SuperCrew with 35000 miles in 04/06. So far it has performed flawlessly. Gas mileage on the 5.4 is in line with published amount. Very comfortable ride.

I have a little over 7000 miles on my Super Crew with no vists to the dealer except for regular maintenance. It's a pleasure to drive in town and on the highway. Due to the step in height, I would recommend some sort of running board.

This review is brought to you by an owner of both a 2001 Chevy Silverado 4DR/4WD and a 2002 Ford F150 SCREW. I love my Ford more than my Chevy. However the Chevy is more comfortable the seats just feel better. The Chevy has better power however the Ford has a smoother Transmission. The Chevy drivers door molding began to fall apart 3 weeks into ownership i.e. the speaker fell out and the lock slide fell off. Pretty cheap design. The Ford has been great it only has 3800 miles on it since August it's my weekend Truck.

I love this truck. Never left me on the side of the road. Everything still original, except for tires. Still has original battery and shocks even. Had a 100,000 mile tune up done recently, which cost a bit (included engine flush, transmission flush and coolant flush), but nothing needed replacement. I expected something to be worn or borderline, but it got a clean bill of health. I plan on passing it along to my daughter for her first vehicle and getting another newer model.

great truck. I can haul 5 people plus all our stuff and dogs in the back. I purchased a cap which really helps with storage. I have over 47,000 miles and it still runs great. Great ride. First brake job was very expensive. Over 500.00. It seems as though parts are very expensive. Power moonroof was a great option.Go with the 17" wheels, tires.Price shop. I saved over 4,000 dollars by shopping at 7 different dealers until I got the best price.

Although I've only owned for 4 weeks I have been very satisifed with my new F-150 Super Crew. Comfort is outstanding. Rear seating is as comfortable at the front seats. Ride is smooth for a 4 wheel drive. Truck bed is short, but with the tailgate down it still handles 4x8 sheets of plywood. Gas mileage is as to be expected with the 5.4 engine, towing capacity is exceptional.

Have had a nagging problem with the driver side seat belt unbuckling on it's own. Other than that, the truck has been great!

Well built, well designed. Fit and finish superb. Quiet and comfortable, even at highway speeds and long distances that I drive each day. Even the small V-8 has plenty of power; coupled with the 3.55LS it will tow up to 6600 lbs w/ an automatic. Mileage ranges from 16.5 to 19 mixed, mostly highway. Review done at 12,000 miles after 4 mos. of ownership.

We actually bought our supercrew June of 2000. We will be buying another supercrew. Our kids like to take the truck more than our Ford Taurus, they say it's more comfortable (meaning the back seat).

I drive an F150 for work and have been impressed by the solid feel and comfort compared to smaller trucks I have driven. So when I saw the King Ranch version, I knew this was my next vehicle. The leather in this truck is great, very soft and comfortable. The rest of the truck is well built and have had no ptroblems at all. After three weeks there is no reason to take it to the dealer for the normal build defects.

Best truck i’ve had

My Dad bought the truck when I was about 10 years old, He drove it every day for years, then my mom drove it every day for a couple years, then they gave it to me in high school and I drove it for another 6 years. The truck currently has 470,000 miles on everything but the motor which has about 350,000 on it. We still use the truck to pull or cars to the track. The only thing we’ve had to put in this truck was a starter, alternator, and oil. Safe to say this thing has been a work horse all it’s life and is hands down the best truck we’ve had.

Good truck, modest tow vehicle

Bought new July '02. Added step-up bars, factory bedliner and Class III tow package. Pulled a large trailer across Desert Southwest during July/August of 2003 with no overheating worries. Very slow to tow, couldn't exceed 55 mph fully loaded. Averaged about 8 mpg at that awful speed with 3 children riding in crewcab. Transferred towing duty to wife's 2003, 3/4 ton Suburban and all are much happier. The Supercrew is still rock-solid reliable, comfortable, and strong. I hope Ford can keep up the good work because the Dodges, Toyotas and Nissans are really coming on strong.
