That is what I think of this pick-up truck. I just hate that I paid so much hard earned money for such a poor vehicle. The gas mileage is the worst I have seen since I owned a ‘70 Chevy with a 454 engine. Now that had pick- up. This Ford is the worst riding. My ‘70 Chevy had air shocks with 50 series wide tires; watch out for bumps, it drove much better than the Ford ever could dream of. This Ford is so bad that my next vehicle may be from JAPAN. I never thought I would ever say that. It is no wonder the American makers of autos are having such trouble in today’s market.

All around good truck

Bought it used with 20,200 miles. No engine problems. Did have issues with parking brake setup. Mechanism froze up and brake shoes were toasted. Seems to be common problem with the rear disc brake/drum parking brake setup due to infrequent use of parking brake. Easy fix for $28 with parts from auto stores. Gas mileage is what you expect from full size truck - 15 city/18 highway.

For an exclusive ride in one of the most common pickups, this is it. The leather interior smells, feels, looks great. wouldn't trade it for a different model. My only suggestion would be to up the performance level of the 5.4L to play with the HD's and SVT's.

Unlike most folks, Mine was FREE. I won it at a company drawing. They paid everything, even my taxes. All i had to bring was ins. Now I already had a 97 GMC and a 99 F150 EXTRACAB, So i sold the lemon ie."GMC" and kept the two F150s. And I love the Supercrew it handles better than my ext cab. rides better. and gets the same mileage as my 6 cyl gmc. And it is just "the best". IF YOU PURCHASE ONE YOU WILL LOVE IT.

Excellent truck. Chevrolet looses. Drag races and looks. Ford's are better and especially this one. Faster, much better looking and more dependible.
