For an exclusive ride in one of the most common pickups, this is it. The leather interior smells, feels, looks great. wouldn't trade it for a different model. My only suggestion would be to up the performance level of the 5.4L to play with the HD's and SVT's.

Unlike most folks, Mine was FREE. I won it at a company drawing. They paid everything, even my taxes. All i had to bring was ins. Now I already had a 97 GMC and a 99 F150 EXTRACAB, So i sold the lemon ie."GMC" and kept the two F150s. And I love the Supercrew it handles better than my ext cab. rides better. and gets the same mileage as my 6 cyl gmc. And it is just "the best". IF YOU PURCHASE ONE YOU WILL LOVE IT.

No mechanical or other warranty needs at all. Excellent quality. Superb performance. Exhaust is a little too loud. Hauls heavy trailers with ease, runs smooth as glass.

Lightning Strikes...

2002 Ford F-150 2dr Regular Cab SVT Lightning 2WD Flareside SB (5.4L 8cyl S/C 4A)

The Lightning is a fun vehicle to drive. Powerful, good handling, excellent braking, an overall A+ in performance. The exterior design is set apart from the other F series trucks with ground effects & bumper treatments. The interior is well laid out with gray suede & black leather. When the supercharger spins up, with it's distinctive whine, & you are pushed back into the seat it makes you smile & sometimes even laugh out loud. The Lightning is just plain fun to drive, period. PS: for well under a $1000, you can get an aftermarket chip, pulley & filter combo that will put your HP well over 400, & torque 500+! This will drop your 1/4 mile times into the low-mid 12's. Yee Haa...
