Good power, 4 wheel drive works good, body rust very fast, gas tank prone to splitting on seam, breaks are a problem, overall a bad buy.

Don't buy Ford

15 visits to dealer for repair in 3 years. Transmission thud with 2-1 downshift, replaced rear end, still whines, bad seals and compressor in air conditioner, bad sparkplug coil, drivers seat problems. Worst vehicle I have ever owned. Traded for a Honda Pilot. Glad to be rid of it. Don't buy a Ford unless you want to get to know the service department personnel really well.

Quality Not Job One

Overall the truck has been okay for a truck. Same old Ford quality though. Noisy transmission, loud power steering pump, and mushy suspension. Transmission hunts when pulling a boat and loaded. Poor window seal quality, almost all doors and window seals are now falling apart or off. Paint quality on roof was factory poor, checking and cracking. To top it off the Original OEM tires were dry-rotting at 25,000 miles.

This truck is like all othyer Fords I've had. They eat up tires and start to ride rough. Also, this truck has a constant whine in teh dash they can't find without taking it apart, which I fear would lead to rattles.

I've had the vehicle for 2 years know, other than a sensor that had to be replaced, the vehicle has been excellent. I've had Chevy trucks in the past and even got to drive a new 2003 Chevy, for a couple days, when they fixed my sensor...all I can say is anybody who drives a Chevy has definitely not driven a Ford lately. The difference between ride, handling and comfort is very obvious. The Ford's road manners give a feel of control and stability. As far as the interior, the Fords are very comfortable with all the controls right where you want them. The 2003 Chevy (2 years newer than my Ford), looked ugly in comparison.Chevy is definitely behind the times.
