expedition2
This is my second expedition. the first was a '97. I wasn't that impressed with my first one, but room and duribility were what I needed. The 2001 is much better than the '97, in interior design and quality. There is more interior storage, better quality and more standard features.
Will buy again
I had 20 k miles in one year, no problems so far, Great car for family with kids, lots of room. I got more than what I expected.

It's okay
Big repairs, but we put on big miles, too. We are on our third set of tires. Have had to replace the front hubs at about 160K miles. Amazingly comfortable for a big old tub that's as worn out as ours is. Midway, we had to replace the gas tank because it was warped and that cost about $900.
Great SUV
I've owned this SUV since new and am very happy with it. It has the "No Boundaries" package and is equipped with the 4.6L V8. It is a little under- powered but if driven carefully it has pretty good (almost 20mpg avg) fuel economy considering its size/weight. I plan on keeping it for many years and so far it's been trouble-free.
Built Ford Tough!
Overall Ford has come out with a great SUV. Make sure you opt on the 5.4 liter as the 4.6 is underpowered.
