Used 2020 Ford Escape Consumer Reviews
Should have bought this car in the lemon color
This Ford has been a total disappointment and a waste of money . Within the first 6 months my rear shocks were leaking . Based on what I have been told it took have been a defect in the car . Also my driver side door hinges snapped , also a defect supposedly . Issue with the car breaking. When coming to a stop , the car would consistently jerk forward . I have been hit in the head multiple times by the auto hatchback while unloading cases . Lastly , for the last 6 months , every time it rains , all of my safety features shut including cruise control, power steering and antilock breaks . Still in the process of getting this issue fixed . Trying to get a hold of ford to let someone know my issues with this car has been next to impossible .

Bought a lemon
I don't know if we happened to just get a lemon, but our 2020 Escape SEL has been in the shop constantly. Various significant leaks. Lost all electricity twice. Have lost all power once again after all those things were 'fixed'. Even the cup holders break constantly. And it doesn't have a workable plug in for our climate. And you can't put it into neutral.

LUV MY 2020 Escape SEL
Very comfortable ride. 2.0 liter turbo is very quick. I had leased a 2014 Escape. The 2020 has a significantly more comfy ride and loads more technology. My commute is 50 miles round trip, 40 of that is freeway. Spend the extra money for the 2.0 engine. Definitely worth it.

Excessive engine vibration
I've had this new 2020 Escape for a month now and I am really getting fed up with the engine vibration from the 3 cyl. engine when the 3rd cylinder is deactivated which is most of the time. It is excessive and the dealer says it is normal. Is there a way the system can be disengaged? I'm getting to the point I want to use the Lemon law.

Love it!
I bought the titanium model, and I love it! Super comfortable, loaded with safety features. I traded in my mustang for this suv, and was afraid there would be a considerable difference in power. Was pleasantly surprised! Very responsive, and handles great. I cancelled my visit to see a Subaru, and bought this on the spot!
