I have a 2015 Titanium 2.0L Turbo Escape. Since I have a 2013 Flex, I am used to the MySync/Ford electronics interface. Love the wide and clear view from the windshield. Ford has since improved the interface and controls. LOVE flexibility of the climate controls. Wish the rear seats were roomier, and that there were more storage compartments. The power is awesome for a 240 HP engine, and it warms up very quickly in the Midwest winters. Heated seats are a must in this climate. I have the 19" premium wheels, and I was originally worried how they would handle in the snow/sleet/ice. They are pretty good...awesome traction in both winter and rain precipitation. So far I have put 1,500 miles on it. Somewhat concerned that you have drive 65 MPH to get the advertised 30 MPG, but it handles nicely when you set the cruise at 80 MPH. Overall: Awesome car, very pleased with it.

Update as of October 2017: We now have 24000 miles on the Escape and it remains problem free. Gas mileage has improved somewhat. It gets 22 to 23 in town and now gets 30 to 31 on the highway. We're very satisfied with the Escape. Up Date 11/2020. 42,000 miles. This Escape is the most enjoyable vehicle that I have ever owned. It has been trouble free to date with nothing needed other than regular maintenance. It is comfortable and well made. The interior leather is like new. The seats are comfortable for both the driver and passenger. Plenty of power and good mileage. The new 2020 Escape leaves me cold. It looks cheap compared to this generation of the Escape. Three cylinder engine yuck! Auto stop start Yuck! The current 2020 Titanium has less content than my 2015. No CD player, No 10 way power passenger seat with lumbar support. No map pocket on the back of the drivers seat. MSRP approaching $40K when equipped with the 2.0 Ecoboost engine Trading my 2015 for a 2020 would be a step down in my opinion. I love my 2015 Escape and will be driving it for a long long time. Update as of late October 2019. I now have 39000 trouble free miles on this Escape. The leather interior is still like new. It is rattle and squeak free. The more miles that I've put on this vehicle the better it seems to run and perform. On a recent trip to Florida I finally got the 32 mpg that the sticker showed. I love driving this vehicle. It's a blast to drive and it puts a smile on my face every time I drive it regardless of the length of the trip. UPDATE 12/2021 @ 46,000 miles I still love this Escape Titanium. It has been trouble free requiring only normal maintenance. Put tires on it at 43,700 miles. That was the only major expense to date. Had the Ford dealer who does my oli changes and rotations cross rotated the tires they would have lasted to 50K. They switched the tires front to back - front to back. The left side tires were still 6/32 tread depth while the right side tires were at 3/32. Right now there is nothing on the market from any manufacturer that would make me part with my 2015 Escape Titanium Up Date 06/2023 I still love my 2015 Escape. The vehicle has 53000 miles on it now and have had it for 8 years. It has produced the first problem since I have owned it. The back up camera works intermittently. It works 98 % of the time. Took it to the Ford dealer and they trouble shot the problem and said that the camera was bad. I find this strange because it works almost all of the time. It is also strange that this problem arose after the dealership performed the recall repair concerning a bushing needed in the transmission selector cable. I mentioned this to the dealership and they did not follow up on this possible cause of the problem. Also maddening is that the camera has been on back order months. I am tempted to say the hack with it as the camera lists for more the $400. The camera is the only problem that I've had with the vehicle in 8 years.

Drove a Camry for 12 years and 165,000 miles. Did nothing but change oil and tires. Giving it to my son for college graduation. Bought a loaded, 2015 Escape Titanium 2.0 4 wheel drive 2 months and 3,000 miles ago. Hoping have the same luck with this vehicle. Test drove Santa Fe, Rav 4, Terrain. Escape no question hotter look, hotter interior, and better drive. Way more pep than the others. I wanted a small SUV with decent gas milage. Miss the 30-32 I was getting with Camry but knew my milage would go down. Getting 25.1 average so far. Like the fact it is all wheel drive moving to 4 wheel drive when I need it. Looking very forward to see how it does this winter. Love the interior. Hands free Navigation, phone, stereo, climate. I have had no issues with voice commands. It let's you know what you can say, very easy to get comfortable with. Love never needing to take the keys out of my pocket. Love the key pad on door. I got the full length sun roof - LOVE IT. Never had one before. Heated seats, memory seats - LOVE IT. Also love using the foot to open back gate, that has come in handy many times. I know it is early but every time I get into it I look forward to driving it. So far so good! Now at 1 year and 15,000 miles. Still love it. Couple small rattles from time to time in the interior and at times the tight sport ride can be no fun with all the poor roads in Wisconsin but SUV still very much fun to drive. I really like the ford services you can voice activate, have used it a few times to help me find things. It suddenly went away on 1 year anniversary but it is only $60 a year which is a lot less than on-star. Love using the phone app to send address destinations to my car. That is very slick. Loved the drive last winter, no issues what so ever in the snow. Hate winter but looking forward to another year of no worries driving.

Worst vehicle I’ve ever owned!

This was my first new car. Drove it right off the lot and I’ve had nothing but issues with it. Had to replace the engine after less than 80,000 miles. Power steering has gone out Bluetooth has gone out it has been nothing but issues in a money pit. Coolant leaking into the engine, oil leaks, you name it. Can’t wait to get rid of this POS!!!
