I bought the car in 2014. It was a demo with 5,000 miles. White AWD Edge Sport. I purchased as a wanted a good SUV that would travel well, handle well, and could handle snow and ice when necessary. I also have two dogs and haul grandkids occasionally. I had the dealer add a tow package when i bought the car. I got tow package for holding a bike rack. I used in Southern California for about 4 years. Worked in downtown LA and lived about 45 miles away, so lots of commuting. Car handles well in freeway driving and visibility is great. Used for several road trips in California, but also to Montana, Oregon, Arizona and others. I moved to Tennessee about 3 years ago. Use car for work. Also have a farm and tow a trailer pretty often. Good towing capacity as i can tow a four seat UTV on the trailer, construction debris and other pretty heavy loads. Car handles ice, snow and mud extremely well. AWD system is much better than i expected. I have had no mechanical problems and now at 115,000 miles. I was thinking about trading in, but had detailed and looks and drives like a new car. i think i will get another 50,000 miles at least. Only problem is with sunroof. After about 5 years, two of the guide covers fell off, but did not impact operation - just looks when open. About a year ago, sliding roof quit working. I don't use so am not getting repaired. It still pops up for ventilation which i use. I still like the looks better than the newer versions. Very clean lines without a lot of trip parts. The 22 inch chrome wheels really gives the car a sporty look. I would highly recommend the car. Has been great for me for a variety of roles.

Loved this car. 6 cylinder which is hard to come by. Excellent pick up. Roomy, smooth ride great looking. Had to replace the backup camera which was not covered and is pricey.

If you have more than two kids, buy an Explorer or Expedition. Update August 2022 - The only major repairs we have done between February 2017 and now is to replace the windshield wiper motor and a complete brake job. The car had 43K when we bought it and rolled over 100K this week so we are not unhappy with that. In January, we will buy a 2019 Titanium and keep this 2013 SEL as a second car. The AWD function is almost as good in ice and snow as the 4WD system on my Expedition.
