The big box

I have owned many ford f350 trucks, and switched to a ford e350 van to be able to haul more people and keep my tools inside. All my trucks had problems and this van is no different. The trim was falling apart and making noise, the transmission overdrive went out, and now the fan motor has lost one of it's four speeds. I bought it when gas was outrageous and saved a load of money, which I will use to put in some real seats, and have some of the ultra cheap interior plastic panels replaced. If you need a big hauler and lots of space then go for it. Past history has shown me after some very troubling problems, eventually everything gets fixed for free by ford and then you are good to go.

Great Van!

This has been a solid vehicle that fills its intended purposes perfectly. We needed lots of interior room, above average seating capacity, and much more towing capacity; this E150 does it all. I tend to forget I'm towing our tent trailer as this van makes it an effortless task. To top it off, though this was the first time we bought a vehicle on the internet, it was a fabulous experience.

GREAT van

My 2006 Ford Econoline 150 XLT passenger Van... Versatile, dependable, comfortable, low maintenance. I love driving my old van. I have kept this truck longer than ANY vehicle I have ever owned. I can't say enough about it. OOPS!. The one negative is, and it seems to be universal with these Ford vans... LOUSY paint job. I had the top repainted about 2015. Its paint is pealing off all over right now... a hard blast at the car wash will knock its paint right off. Other than that WOW... what a tough, long lasting piece of machinery it is. PLUS... Ford did not require a bail out when so many auto makers did. (are you listening General Motors???)

I loved my truck. It great for moving large families. We are 12. I bought it with 37k. Transmission of not changed out is not good. Mine failed at 60k miles. The engine in here is good for moving stuff but this has water pump failures in the engine and even if you notice right away and turn it off, still blew my engine. 100k miles. I however put a brand new crate engine in with upgraded pump. I put a few other things on mine. Though the ac never worked after. Breaks, tires, suspention. I put in $10k in repairs in the last 2 years. Only because it was things I couldn't do and big ticket stuff. I would still have never got rid of it, but at 135k miles, the truck saved my 19 year old daughters life. When she was struck by a careless driver causing a three car accident and a tree. She walked away with minor major issues. The police, fire department, and insurance company said had she been in any other car, she very likely be severely injured or would have died. Also watch out, airbags don't go off in bad accident and another issue with these cars. Anyways, we had great insurance we thought. They had copies of all the stuff we had done. 3 weeks and they were going to fix it, 4th week it was told they could no longer find parts needed, also 3 pages of repairs turned into 9. They then stopped bothering to look or count. The suspention was cracked, need a complete redo, the frame was cracked. They totaled it out and then I'm told it's only worth 9k lol lies! They insurance guy checked out after I put in all that work and I was paying for 20k. How this lawyer is good.

Church Van driver

This is the church van used 4-6x week. Great van gets the members to/from safely. ride is very comfortable for such a big van, ours is 15 passenger. Smooth on hwy, not bad on side streets with LOTS of Michigan potholes. No repairs so far @245,000. Sounds like brand new. No noises. Plastic interior is a little cheap. Triangle piece on door comes off if lightly pulled. Doors close tight no rattles. Seats are easy enough to get in/out. Simple lever system. I love driving it, but hate backing it up. It is huge! Good views all around, no real blind spots except in back when people walk to close to bumper, scary. I don't bounce like in trucks that's nice. No complaints really
