The poor thing's been hit twice inside first year we've owned it. Once parked at a Hotel parking lot at son's wedding and once rear ended. Both times damage was small and almost un noticed. Door rocker panel came in right about $1K. The rear end under $700. Was hit hard too but except for TOYOTA imprinted on bumper panel and minor scraps, not one dent and you really would not know it was hit... See, truck aren't only thing biult Ford Tough!!

Rear axles went bad 2 months after warranty was past, but less than 36,000 miles. The car was on recall for this problem if it was a fleet vehicle, but not for a private owner. Rotors went out of shape at 39,500 miles. Wind noise around the front doors at highway speeds. It's interesting that Ford now gives longer warrantys for the same car. Is Ford hurting? No more Fords for me

Being a paraplegic and towing a small travel trailer this car meets my needs. It has plenty of power but as soon as you take it out of over drive pulling the trailer you mpg takes a nose dive. The Crown is still one of the finest looking cars on the road!I love it!
