My Vic
I have had this car since it came off the lot. I love it. It is roomy, comfortable, handles well with the handling package. A great car on the highway. I love RWD and V8 power and torque.
Great Ride
I have had mine over a year and traded in a 98 Mercury GM. Will upgrade to a new one soon. I have the Police Package and still get 24-25 MPG.

29 year old Crown Vic owner
I guess I'm a little bit younger than the average Crown Vic owner, but I love them! This is my 4th one. All of my Crown Vic's have had excellent reliability and are still going strong. I have sold my old ones to friends and the 91 has 250K, the 92 has 198K, the 95 has 154K all on the original unrebuilt drivetrains.... Need I say more?? The comfort on the highway is unsurpassed. I would recommend this car to anyone. After all, this basic design (V8, auto, rear wheel drive, full body on frame) dates back to the dawn of automobiles and Ford has certainly exterminated the bugs out of this design. :)
I miss my Honda
I bought this car with just over 21000 miles a little over a year ago. Great ride, great handling and excellent mileage for a V8. Now at about 45000 miles of mostly highway driving, the front end pops and squeaks like crazy and have already replaced the a/c unit.. Also, the CD changer croaked too.
80,000 miles in Crown Vic LX Sport
Put the vehicle in service on January 1, 2002. Have just about 80,000 miles on it at this point. Of course have mounted new tires, replaced brake pads, replaced two windshields, tune up and normal maintenance. Ford replaced one sensor without charge. Nothing has broken. The vehicle is problem free. The car is no drag racer but for its size and weight its mid range acceleration is impressive. Handling, including braking, is very competent for a car this size. Even with the older steering (it is not rack and pinion) the feed back/control are fine. We get a lot of bad weather, i.e. snow, but the traction control and ABS helps. Not as good as AWD or front wheel drive but not bad for rear wheel drive.
