Used 2018 Ford C-Max Hybrid Wagon Consumer Reviews
Love my car
This is my second C-max, first one was a hybrid and this one is a plug in. It has never disappointed me. I am a little upset with Ford because they wont be making the C-max any more. It has been a very good and comfortable car. Mileage with combined features is about 63 miles per gallon.

You just have to drive one.
I had a 2013 with 65k miles. When I heard Ford was going to drop the car I traded in for a 2018 Titanium. I handles like a sports car, is as quiet as a luxury car, it is fast, yet gets 40-50 mpg. Highest mileage around town under 55 mph. It is a Prius killer on all counts other than mileage. You have the power you need when you need it. It is fun to drive. The fit and finish on the inside is better than many cars costing much more. The 2018 Synch 3 system for entertainment and navigation is much better than the one on my 2013 C-Max.

Small but Mighty!
So my heart, my 1993 Mercury Cougar XR7 got too sick to care for and we had to buy a new car. Why we didn't just overhaul the Cougar with the money we spent on this new car, I don't know. But here we are. With a new, 2018 Ford CMax Titanium Hybrid. Driver seat is comfortable. Passenger seat not so much. It feels like it's been installed crooked. Why? No idea. The windshield is HUGE for such a small car. Great view, except for the giant pillars on either side of the windshield (which happen to hold airbags) .. creates a small but sometimes important blindspot. The 60/40 folding back seats are surprisingly comfy. And plenty roomy when folded down. Love the heated seats. The Titanium package on this car has lots of niceties .. auto headlights, auto air (comes with last settings), auto wipers, remote start, can put widows down remotely .. but can't put them back up. I'm sure other cars have and have had these options for years .. it's just new to me, from a 25-year car that the only safety feature was brakes and a seatbelt! Great gas mileage .. average 41 mpg. Again, a long way from the 1993 Mercury Cougar that was all gas and heavy as lead. About 21 mpg on that ol' girl. Good stereo in this Cmax. The heating/cooling system is a little confusing. There are many options/combinations for upper and lower heating and cooling. I do not have a heated steering wheel but that's fine. The very powerful heated seats make up for that. I have not taken a trip where we need to pack lots of luggage, though I'm dying for a cross country road trip. I usually fill the back with groceries or my husband's wheelchair. The wheelchair only fits with both of the back seats folded down. My first and biggest complaint about this car is I wish it was 1' longer and 1' wider. That's all I ask. Other than that, I'm very happy with it.

Great All Around & V. Good Economy
Comfortable, quiet inside, good handling & visibility, very practical, nice interior, well-built. Underrated car-- buyer's opportunity for great value. In non-winter months fuel economy avg (over a tankful of gas) is 40-42 MPG. Only in winter on cold day in Phila area does MPG avg drop slightly below 40 MPG but after 30 mile trip goes back to 40 mpg or more. Does not want for power, which is main criticism of Prius. A great all around car that happens to also get great fuel economy. Still pleased after 20+ thousand miles.

The Best
Don't know why they are always crying about not enough mpg. 40 mpg isn't bad. If you want more than that you will have to accept a gutless tin can with noisy ride. Most reliable car ever.
