Used 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan Consumer Reviews
Great Buy/Great Value/Great Van!!!
My husband and I love this van. We did a great deal of research when looking for a new car. We also liked the Honda Odyssey but found that the extras in the vehicle were NOT worth the added expense! The Dodge Grand Caravan is a spacious, economical van while continuing to be a thrill to drive. A huge step above the 2004 Grand Caravan!! We highly recommend this van to anyone!!!
Nice in and out, but...
It is a nice van to drive. Replaced a '96 Villager with 120,000 miles. Much better ride - smoother and better handling. Only problem so far is that Dodge (maybe this was a mistake) installed the base AM/FM CD with a single disc DVD. The end result is that headphones are not supported by the radio.... So, if the kids want to watch a DVD that is the audio that comes over the 6 speakers. Later models in the '05 have corrected this, and it is no longer an option to combine these two from the factory. But, it seems silly to have a DVD player that doesn't have a separate audio source.

This is an Excellent Mini Van
This is our second Dodge Grand Caravan and the 2005 model is better than ever. The ride and handling is superb. It's a great family vehicle!
Awesome Van
We've had our van for six months now and I still love it! We had an '02 Odyssey before this one and I would definitely recommend the Dodge over the Honda. I think it is very easy to drive. I feel like I sit up in it and that I have a good view of my surroundings. Stow 'n go seating is great! I have two young children and their stuff is no longer rolling around on the floor of the van!
Best Yet!
We traded in our 1997 GC for the 2005 SXT. We have loved it since the 1st time we sat in it. The seats are extremely comfortable. The ride is amazingly quiet. The van take bumps like they weren't even there. This is our 4th Dodge Grand Caravan and this is the best yet. We haven't made a long trip in it yet, but I am definitely looking forward to one. Thanks Dodge for continual great design and upgrades.
