Used 2016 Chevrolet Trax LS 4dr SUV (1.4L 4cyl Turbo 6A) Consumer Reviews
Great value
Have owned over two years now, 40,000 + miles. I am very impressed with this vehicle overall. Very reliable. Runs well - good ride - great gas mileage (averaged over 33 mpg on a trip last week). I realize this vehicle was not designed to be a sports car but could use a bit more acceleration to make pulling into traffic a bit easier. Car has no problems cruising 70+ mph on the highway (once up to speed) with enough power to pass when needed. Would definitely recommend.

Chevy Trax Review
It's a zippy little car that gets about 26 mile per gallon, it didn't come with a CD player but then maybe cars just don't have that anymore. It's a nice little car with a nice backup view/camera. Not too many bells or whistles, but drives nice, I've had it for a couple of weeks and want to own it for 8 years at least so I will see how it stands up!

GREAT LITTLE SUV
This is a compact SUV. If you are looking for a lot of POWER, forget it. For me, this is the third Trax I have owned . I had a 1992 4WD Geo Tracker with a convertible soft top and a 2002 Tracker 4WD for 16 years before I finally had to let them go, never had any major issues till the end (exhaust system needed replacing thanks to ethenol and i was short on funds at the time) the TRAX has all the power I need, for where I need to go. LOVE LOVE LOVE the my Links phone controls on the steering wheel. I don't have to fiddle for a phone. My grandkids love all the ports for all their devises. I have some health issues and it is hard for me to get in and out of a car, I am 5'2" and this is THE PERFECT SIZE AND HEIGHT for me for get in and out of. Most small SUV's I have to hop up to get in. I can't think of one negative thing to say. I just LOVE MY TRAX. I hope this is the last vehicle I will every buy......

Pros and Cons - Where is the armrest?
All in all, GM built useful but unreliable vehicle and forgot to put in an armrest. Pros: Standard spare tire. Excellent crash test with 10 airbags for protection. Overall combined miles per gallon = 31.9 with conservative driving. Great traction on snow, ice and wet roads. Great braking. Has plenty of storage and cargo space. Cons: Lack of heated mirrors makes driving in sleet, fog or rain dangerous. Tiny armrest makes driving over 15 minutes uncomfortable. Weak headlights. All vehicles should include heated side mirrors standard for safety. Backup cameras are great until they get dirty. The armrest is a miniature decorative item with no actual function. This vehicle is miserable to drive, and easy to park. Fit and finish is ?. I would not purchase any car without heated outside mirrors due to safety concerns. Update: After about 40,000 miles this car begins to fall apart. Oil coolant pump replaced with second failure driving away from service department after it was supposedly repaired (dealer mistake). Replaced front struts, leaking gasket repair, purge valve replaced, heater temp dial control repair ($600), ignition coil replaced by dealer (I think this was a mistake and was not needed because the car failed when driving away from the dealer and it needed new spark plugs). Dealers are good at providing faulty and unnecessary repairs. Took it in for an oil change and drove away with burning, smoking leaking gasket. I suspected the dealer tampered with the car. This car will last for about the length of the warranty if you are lucky. It has also become very drafty and loud over time. After the oil coolant pump failed, gasket leak and other oil leaks, I gave up on it. I traded it in for a Toyota.
