I bought the 2009. In dec of 2009 2.4 engine with only 30 thousand miles on it . a few months later a sensor had to be replaced $70 dollars couple months later a solenoid idk what $128 dollars for that then the battery died ...then recall after recall ...to replace the headlights is the biggest joke you have to take the front bumper off the bulbs are not cheap ...and they go out like 3 or 4 times a year. I drive to LA every so often from the valley and on the grape vine on the way down when i push on tje brakes the whole car shakes very bad the mechanis said there was nothing wrong with it yet i never had this problem with other older cars finally to top it off the catalytic coverter went bad guess what its a dealer part cannot buy it at autoparts store $1200 bucks i decided to let it go and keep my 2003 hyuindai that never gave me problems like this malibu ....would never buy chevy again

My Malibu LTZ is an outstanding vehicle! The styling and performance of the vehicle go far beyond the the sticker price. It looks and drives more like a luxury vehicle.

Yesterday I turned in a 2009 Malibu . I put 253 miles on this car in the Bay area. I handles the freeways well except the raised expansion joints on the 880. I had rented a 2009 camray the week before on the same route. In general the new malibu is a good car on its owns merits, in comparison to the camry, engine power similar, NVH similar..good!, Build quality similar. Interior a toos up. THe malibu has better seats hands down . The malibu has a very poorly designed Front door , entry and pillar arrangement. I am 6 foot tall and not fat. The B pillar has a plastic ledge seemingly designed to remove the rear pocket. I ruined a new pair pf slacks in this car. There is no need to this foolishness

I've had my red Malibu LTZ V6 almost 2 weeks and I absolutely love it. It looks like a million bucks - everywhere I go people ask me, "What kind of car is that? It's so pretty!" It drives like a 4 door sports car and handles like a dream. So far it is getting 30-31 mpg on the hwy and 18-22 in the city. It seems to get a higher avg mpg as I get a few more miles on it. The OnStar nav is great as I have no sense of direction. The seats are beautiful and comfortable and the trunk is roomy enough for a trip for 4 for a few days in N.O. The elec plug in the back is awesome. Everyday I find more to love about this car! I feel like a celebrity when I drive it because everybody stares at it

Purchased car about a month ago and enjoy every thing about it. The car ride and handles as good as my BMW. The leg room in front and rear is outstanding. The only thing that I would like to see added is a arm rest in the rear seat area.
