Used 2013 Chevrolet Impala LT 4dr Sedan (3.6L 6cyl 6A) Consumer Reviews
Quite Possibly the best car of 2013
Let's be honest this car rocks! Comfort and fuel economy are HUGE pluses in this car. The 3.6 is a peppy and growling engine with great reliability. Entertainment is okay but no screen (doesn't matter!). Sound Quality is SUPER GOOD and what I mean is the clarity and bass (and it's not even the Bose). I like it. It's the best of both worlds The sunroof is cool, Bluetooth speakerphone is good, Sound Quality, etc. A sporty yet comfortable package!

It's all about Value
I bought my 2013 Chevy Impala LT with 16k miles and I've had the vehicle now for 1 year and put an additional 12k miles on it. I have to say I am very impressed with this vehicle because of the value it offers. You get GM's flagship 3.6L V6 engine with the 6 speed automatic in a full size sedan for under 16k in the current model year. That's almost 50% off sticker for just 16k miles. For the money, there isn't a better deal on a vehicle out there (believe me, I've looked). Great daily driver. Not a sports cars, it's a full size sedan designed to be comfortable and reliable. MPG numbers are spot on too, 17 City and 31 Highway. The transmission is clunky and the car shut off on me on the highway. Dealers said they couldn't help me as it wasn't under warranty.

Comfortable and spacious, but............
The 2013 Impala is a comfortable and spacious car, with much to recommend it. However, there is one niggling fault that appears incurable. At 66000KM, I began getting an alarm "L Front tire; Low air pressure". I checked the tire pressures; 32PSI as recommended, but the warning continued. I took it the Chev dealer. They ran the program and told me that the car needed a new Left Front wheel bearing, which they installed. Next day, the warning was back. I took it back to Chev. They said that it was the L Front wheel bearing SPEED SENSOR. So they changed it. Next day, the warning was back. I took it back to Chev. They said that the problem was the L Front wheel bearing speed sensor WIRING HARNESS. So they changed it. Next day the warning was back. I did not take it back to Chev. It seems that this fault, which many 2013 Impala owners report, cannot be fixed. Every Km, I have to cancel the alarm. It is not serious, but it is annoying.

Unable to Repair Left Front Drive issue
A problem with chattering in the left front drive module. Three repairs($1500) by the Banning Chevrolet dealer and a $700. repair by an independent repair shop in Banning failed to correct the problem. The trade in value was lost due to the problem. I bought a Dodge Charger in place of it.
