Impala LTZ THE sleeper that will wake you up!
I have a 2012 Impala LTZ, bought it in 2022 with 92xxx on the clock. It’s sad that so many people have turned on Chevrolet and act as if they don’t or can’t make a solid reliable vehicle. I like my Impala…I’ve had 3 diff generations 72 ragtop, 95 SS, now this 2012 LTZ and all of them have served me well. Nothing cheap on the car. Try driving one and take a trip. When you are done you won’t be trashing it anymore. The car will quiet the masses if they actually took it out on the road and let it show them what it’s built to do. It’s a sleeper and it does very well with comfort, handling, hp, fuel mileage and overall dependability. I don’t care what others think because of someone’s negative review. Someone who doesn’t own a Chevrolet and is one of those who just bashes them simply because they don’t like them….anyone can do that and get paid for doing it. If you don’t drive it more than a few miles on a test drive you won’t know how well the Impala can perform on a daily basis. I want to see some of those bigmouth keyboard warriors who always think they know everything about Chevrolet…. step up, design, engineer and build a better car. They can’t because they don’t know how nor have the means. Talk is cheap…so are the posting of critics who flap their yap just for a paycheck. I’ve owned Chevrolet over 40 yrs….it ain’t gonna change. The Impala comes alive
I have to say, I have owned a few cars in my life and finally Chevy does something about making their cars great again. At one time, they were one of the best American made cars to own. But since the Asian auto makers came to America and brought their brilliant idea to the industry, its been hard to compete. Once again they have made a car that can compete, but will still need more improvements to their designs and develop a flawless design,or they will always be the underdog to the Asian market. As you all know, a Toyota engine and transmission can run forever, as long as there is oil, and with little maintenance. The engines are know to run up to 300 plus hundred thousand miles if kept maintained. This has been one of the American auto makers problems, most of the engines only last a couple of hundred thousand miles, and thats if its been well kept and built. I hope they will continue on their bettering of their cars, so we can continue buying them.

Preferred Alternative to Overrated Foreign Vehicle
I previously owned countless SAABS, Volvos, BMWs and AUDI's and have to tip my hat that American engineers can make a much more reliable vehicle than what comes out of the factories of the before mentioned manufacturers. Agreed that one can not compare the interior of the Impala to a European mfg in terms of style but the trade off is being good friends with your owners manual to keep up with the Service requirements that will bankrupt you at the end of the day. This is the second Impala owned and was extremely impressed overall. Handling, reliability, Bluetooth, Steering Wheel Controls, MPG's and Reliability is way above avg. Aside from cheap aspects of the interior the only other gripe is the new transmission can feel sluggish at times v. the previous 4 speed. The MPG's are still honorable for the size vehicle but the updated transmission lacks the ooomph of the previous model. The vehicle is highly recommended. Its virtually impossible for you to spend the sort of money on this vehicle v. the European vehicle that require the most demanding attention to you wallet.

A Perfect Car
My 2012 Impala is one of the best driving cars I have ever been in. It has plenty of power, rides very smooth and Handles great. The Onstar system gives more accurate directions than Cars with onscreen navigation systems. I drove a lot of vehicles including some imports before buying. The Impala rides and drives as good or better than them. No it doesnt have a fancy display screen but the Onstar system works better. It also is easier to get in and out of than smaller cars.
