Not impressed so far..........
Have had my Cruze LT hatch for 29 days today and, so far, am not impressed. This vehicle replaced a 09 Cobalt Sedan, with a manual, that was the best vehicle I had ever owned. The "Android Auto" feature is constantly "offline" and this is supposed to be 1 of the biggest perks of this vehicle. It is hard to get in and out of and I have yet, after 29 days of ownership, found a comfortable seating position. The "start/stop" feature, which I was aware of, is already annoying as well. So far my best mpg figures have been 27.4, far from what I expected. Maybe I expected too much after 8 great years with the Cobalt. There may be a Ford Ecosport in my immediate future... *Update...have now owned the car for over 18 months, completed an extended trip (750 miles), and now have a new opinion of the car. I was very impressed during the trip as the car averaged 35 mpg and had ample cargo room. Power, acceleration, have never been a problem and contributed to a nice trip. I have now gotten used to the "start/stop" function (still would rather not have it) and the Android Auto still doesn't work as it is supposed to. My GPS and Ipod help deal with that issue. I plan to keep the car now for a few years. If Chevy still made it i would recommend the hatchback for its performance and cargo capability.

Great little Diesel!!!
So I’ve had the car for a week. Only reason why I am giving the car a 4 out 5 is simply because after a week I had to take it in due to a check engine light and unable to read the code. For a turbo diesel I was expecting more of a get up and go and it does however the horsepower for the engine was lacking. Still an awesome car. The fuel economy on this thing is amazing! It’s not the millennium falcon but it will do!

Cruzin For A Bruizin
Bought my diesel Cruze new last year. Got 20k miles on it. Two months ago, my power was reduced to half because of emission and particulates in filter issues. Very inconvenient being I was traveling through another state. Got home and had it serviced. Two months later, same thing. Very dangerous to have your "new" vehicle stall to 60 mph on an Interstate while traffic is flying by doing 80+. But some brainiac engineers thought its a good idea to risk peoples lives because of retarded software programming telling a mechanically sound vehicle to power down to force owners to attend to not so important repairs. Can't imagine the chaos that's coming down the pike when the warranty expires. Called GM while traveling to get help. Spoke to a Chinese woman named Mira who kindly made an appointment for me several weeks later. But It would have to be towed to the nearest dealership with me flipping the bill of getting back home. Long short of it is I drove several hundred miles through back roads to get back home. This car is totally undependable for long distance trips. This over engineering has ruined what otherwise could have been a great car. Buyer Beware!
Great little car
I'm 6'4" and find this little car more accomodating than my other car, which is a much larger SUV. I am getting about 32 MPG in stop and go driving back and forth to work, and I love the handling on curvy roads. The car is actually pretty good looking also (It has th RS package which makes it look sporty.)
