Used 2005 Chevrolet Corvette Consumer Reviews
New vette owner
First off let me say I love this car!! I have waited patiently (for the most part) to own a Corvette. I test drove a c5 version a couple of years ago and quite frankly it turned me off Corvettes. I just started looking again and saw the '05 at a great price and couldn't resist. I test drove it and fell in love. To me this is what driving a corvette is all about! It has power, style, and comfort. I am a tall guy (6'4") so sports cars aren't exactly built with me in mind. I have take this on modest rides so far (2-3 hours) and I have no problems with comfort. To sum it all up, if you are thinking of buying a vette, buy the c6!
This is the best car ever!!!

'05 Vette
My first Vette. Glad to have waited for the C-6. More fun to drive than to look at! This car is rock solid. If you have need for speed you will appreciate the performance of this vehicle.
Incredible
I have had (and currently have) Porsche, Benz, 80's Corvettes, many moons ago, Austin Healey, Marcos (do you know what that is?)and others. This automobile is staggering. Civilized and "beastly" at the same time! It is amazing how much attention I get (maybe it's the Millenium Yellow...). All of a sudden everybody on the road is polite! They want to let me go by so they can see the car! My C6 has everything except Z-51 (does have mag. select). A very, very tight automobile. If you haven't been in one, try it... You hear a "great car for the money". No, A GREAT CAR PERIOD!
Arrived at Destination
Come on, it's a Corvette, What else does one want for? Fuel mileage is right where it should be. Even after 40 years, it still turns heads.
