1000 miles!
So far so good. Decided against the Toyota and went with the Chevy. Quiet ride (better than our 2008 Highlander) and handles well. Overall happy so far. Best MPG was 25.6 for a 300 mile trip.

Solid frame up truck , not a converted SUV
till a strong performer Had to go to the dealership for a transmission fluid change due to a light shudder in top gear . Fluid change took care of it . Changed to a Mobil 1. Free of charge . No other problems. . At 33K miles all is well No transmission shudder or erratic shifting .. No rattles , all electronics work as new .

My Bad [non-permissible content removed] ZR2
This truck is my ideal dream truck. I heard another reviewer call it the Marty McFly truck (Back to the Future), and I agree. It is the truck I wanted when I was in high School (& that was a LONG time ago). OK, so it is my mid-life crisis truck. The stance, non-functional hood bevel, 31" tires, bumper reduction for approach/departure, optional roll cage with LED lights (I got em), factory lift, all lend to an aggressive look. Mine has the gas V6/308 HP. This engine has plenty of umph for me. The front and rear locking diff is also a game changer. Take some time to watch this on YouTube and you'll see what it is. Getting in a out of the ZR2 is a bit of a stretch. I am 5'10" and I can make due, but if you are in inclement weather, you risk the chance of rubbing the back of your pant legs on the factory stock rockers. My girlfriend hates this; I don't :) The interior is nice, but the dash has a plastic feel due to the fact that it is cheap plastic. The leather seats are comfortable, but combine both electric and manual adjustments (curious as to why). Driving this little beast is awesome! It handles like a sports car and with the DSSV shocks, this truck eats up bumps and jumps! If it is gas mileage you are looking for, this is not the truck for you. I am averaging 17 MPG. I love the layout of the instrumentation. If you have an Apple or Droid phone, don't worry about getting the navigation option. With the Apple Play, it mirrors itself on the large infotainment screen and you just use your smart phones navi app to get you where you want to go. This is a really nice feature. Overall, I obviously love my truck. It is a head turner. True story; I was sitting in a parking lot and a truck driver stopped his rig in the rain and ran over to where I was! He wanted to know what I was driving. Amazing!

So far so good!!
This is my 2nd pickup, 1st truck was 2001 ford ranger with 4.0, and put 230,000 miles on it. Only had to replace the radiator, beside other regular maintenance. So far with 17,000 miles on my Colorado the only complaint I have is you can’t adjust the brightness of the screen when backing up at night with a trailer, I get light reflection from the trailer back into the camera and makes it impossible to see the outside mirrors, would be a simple fix to turn off the camera or be able to dim the screen, I have a 20ft box toy hauler and hopefully I can get close to the 200,000 miles like the ranger did.
