350 F-Body Review
this unit is super quick, fast and stong. remember, a poor or moderate comfort rating is desirable in a performence car. it has 245 hp and 345 lb/ft of torque in standard form. the 1990-'92 f-body may be the best performer of all four generations. motor trend magaine tested this in the march 1990 issue with a 0-60 time of 5.8 seconds. and this test was without factory option slp. this was a short model year, so all '90 models were made during the last three months of 1989. why so short? g.m. did not renew its contract with the i.r.o.c. and was not licensed to use 'iroc' starting january 1990.
High School Sweetheart
I drove a dark red 1988 Iroc-Z in high school. It was the greatest present a man could give to his son. She was strong, fast, powerful, loud and impressive. The 5-speed was matched beautifully to that 5.0 liter. We had a 3.73 rear end with full time posi. She got off the line like no other. I never had any issues at all with her. I damn near cried when I sold her.

Best Car on Earth
The best car on earth.
Extreme Fun
The 1989-1992 Camaro's are the best 3rd Generation Camaro. They have unbelivable power in the L98 IROC-Z. They are also the best car to have a great time with. Either restoring or racing. I say buy it if you want to have a great time for a great price.
IROCZ Best of the Best
Car and Driver rated it the best handling car in the world and they weren't kidding!!!
best car I've ever owned.
I bought my 1990 Rs for $700, it had 190,000 miles on it and ran super strong. It was a 5.0 tbi automatic. I abused that engine and trans for 2 years straight ( racing, burnouts, horrendous over- revving) and it took it like a champ. The engine started to knock at 240,000 and it was replaced with a mildly built 350, and a T5 trans. This car now screams. I would recommend these cars to anyone that is looking for a cheap, fast, well handling car.
Vroom Vroom, and away she goes!!
I personally love this car because it's a great buy for someone if they are looking to builg a stree machine. These cars are quick, easy to build & work on, and cheap the puchase (and relatively cheap to work on). These cars can run low 12's in the 1/4 mile with very little additions.
VERY FUN!
This is by far the funest car I've had so far. It's got the big 350 5.7 Liter and it's pushing about 250hp. You can't ask for more. The gas mileage isn't that great, only about 250 on the highway and about 200 city but that's minor compared to the rest of the car. It's totally loaded, I would buy another one in a heartbeat!
Bought it new
Was my dream car then and still is today. Famos quote "You can own fastest car in the world but you can always build and/or find a Chevy that can beat it."
Sweet ride
The stock car has great handling and power. The interioe is well planned and the T-tops add the feel of a convertible without compromising the structural integrity of the vehicle. Almost infinite possibilities to make aftermarket improvements to the engine and suspension. Absolute best car for the money. With the right after market add-ons this car can run against any foreign or domestic sport ride.
