Used 2001 Chevrolet Blazer Consumer Reviews
A great suv to drive.
My husband and I have tried all sorts of SUV's and found the Chevy Blazer to be one of the best by far. The ride is quiet and smooth. The seats are comfortable with plenty of leg room in the front. The back seat is also comfortable and works great for two car seats. I would not recommend three people for the backseat. The visiblity is excellent. The suv's moverability is great. We are so pleased with the Blazer.
Good? Bad?
Bought this lease return (Carfax Info) vehicle used about 2 1/2 years ago. Has been good second vehicle until recently with failure of lower ball joints and discovery that the "noise" in the back I have heard for last 5-6 months is apparently the carrier bearings in the rear end which resulted in early failure of entire rear end (estimate of $1200 +/-). It may be time for a replacement vehicle especially since mileage has always been about 17mpg highway.

Great Price and Value SUV
I have used my Blazer extensively pulling my bassboat. It has been dependable with no major work. The 4.3L engine is smooth and the vehicle is very quiet at all speeds. Long trips make this SUV shine with comfort! I most enjoy loading it with camping/fishing gear and get outta' town.
It's alright
It's an alright truck all around but I still feel more comfortable driving an old beat up Civic. It doesnt feel stable off road and I'm constantly having mechanical issues with it but it does all that it's technically supposed to I guess.
