I love this car
I have had this car for about a month. It drives wonderfully. It is a very quiet ride. The handling is awesome.
My First BMW
Got this car true European delivery program - had chance to drive this car from Munich thru Madrid. Never had such a blast. Excelent car in and out

One month review
I love the car. Was reluctant to get rid of 98 A4 (6 Cyl) but after a few weeks, no second thoughts. 325 is so easy to drive, handles great, shifts great, and I find myself driving on highway at much higher speeds than ever before. I regret no European delivery or going for upgraded stereo. Would love car just as much without seat power options.
Really Good
I drive this car everyday for 1 year and have had no problems. Drives and looks great. You get beauty and performance. Perfect all around car with lots of options like bluetooth..satellite radio etc.
Islandflyer savvy
This is the first BMW for us. It has about 16,000 KMS (10K miles). Average 38 to 40 MPG on a Canadian gallon. I drove Mercedes cars for 24 years. This new 06 325i is solid, fast, comfortable, very economical, handles with amazing flexibility, has great load space especially with seats down, and is a better buy than the C Class MB for the money. Mercedes seems to be failing to provide their historically good quality. My C Class was only average in quality. The 13 speaker Harmon Kardon Logic 7 stereo system is amazing. Buy one. Don't settle for less. PS: I have driven all sorts of vehicles in about 30 countries overseas
Stop buying Hondas
I purchased this vehicle as a replacement to my 2005 Honda Accord Coupe. After 15yrs and four Hondas, this is a major upgrade. Far more creature comforts and better handling inspite of the lower horsepower rating. This car loves to be driven fast and grips the road like a champ. Wish I had looked at bimmers sooner.
You won't want to drive anything else
Bought the 06 325 about a month ago and haven't stopped driving since. I've driven a lot of cars and this is one experience that can't be beat. Controls took some getting used to, but once you're educated it gets even better.
I love this car!
I love this car. Im 6'4" tall and Im still comfortable in this car. Its fun to drive and gets all kinds of looks. As far as the quality, I think its second to none. My friend has a benz in the same price range and I think my seats and dash are done much nicer, and I have about 15 hp. more than he does. What else can I say I love this car!
Nice car
Handles very well and looks great. Not as fast off the line as I'd like for the money. Looking into aftermarket parts to fill the gap here. Still more fun to drive than most competitors. Not the best value in it's class (G35) but it's worth it if you can spare the extra change. Test drove a WRX STI just for fun - if you could put that motor in the 330i, you'd have the worlds most perfect car.
RIDES LIKE A ROCK, Road vibration
This new 06 330 rides like they forgot to put tires on it. Road vibration works its way up the steering wheel and after an hour of hi-way driving your hands start to tingle. Car shimmies at 50mph. The I-drive system has the speed of a 15 year old computer. Too much road noise enters the car. My old 01 330 much much better. One would think that they could consider the ride and some confort on newer models but they took it away. Great car if you travel over 75 mph all the time & take almost any corner at that speed and you really like feeling the road. I don't recommend it to the people that drive the speed limit on average roads. This car is not worth the money if you drive the speed limit.
Excellent performance
1 month review for a 2006 330i 6spd manual. I have driven it 1500 miles and it's been a very pleasurable experience. Excellent acceleration, braking, stability, handling, and manuevering. The car never seems out of breath or underpowered in any gear. Delivers good torque even at the lower speed range of a gear - simply amazing. The interior is quite plain & simple compared to other cars at the same price, but that's certainly not enough reason to decide against buying the car. Looks very beautiful from the outside. Turns a lot a heads and commands attention on the road.
4000 mile review
I have owned my first BMW (blk sapph/blk leather/alum/manual/sport/prem/CA/shades/nav/rear folding seats) for a little over a month and have completed just over 4k miles. Yes, it's that fun to drive. Driving Feel - always feels 'planted', minimal roll in turns. Feels very tight and composed during aggressive driving. Delivers power on demand with smooth acceleration. These combined with a well-insulated cabin, make high speed driving feel effortless and safe. Light, precise clutch, solid shifter movement. iDrive+BT - handy for ad-hoc exploring, fun & easy to use. Pwr shade - neat toy but not used much. Was skeptical about Comfort Access but won't get a car without it now (same with nav).
Best car I ever owned
I have had this car for almost a year. I traded in my 2001 325i model for this when the re-design first came out (I owned a 318is prior to the 325i). This is the best 3-series model I have owned and I have yet to get bored with it. I still feel the same thrill as I had the day I drove it home. The aux input for my iPod was a very nice feature and the engine purrs quietly. I love the acceleration on this car. Car does run only on premium gas so beware of that. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the audio system. Premium sound system was a better option, but I choose instead to buy a better system aftermarket.
Unreal
I have had the 2006 BMW 325I for a relatively short period of time but I am extremely impressed with it. It has great performance and comfort and brakes that are out of this world. Not to mention all the standard safety equipment that comes standard on the vehicle. The best thing about this car is its ability to negotiate the corners. Fantastic!!! BMW has definitely improved the styling and just the general feel of the vehicle.
Awesome
BMW has done a great job enhancing the 3 series. More rear seat space and trunk space, improved transmission, great stereo and of course great looks. Bought my 2006 325i last week and the dealer service was excellent. Performance, fuel economy and free scheduled maintenance were huge factors in my decision to buy this car.
Great car, great value!
Have owned this car for over two years and with a Lexus before this, and a Mercedes prior to the Lexus, I am simply amazed at how great the 3 series is! The exterior design is tame, yet very mature, and as a dentist, I am pleased with taking this car to work (it has a grown-up, serious look to it). The interior is amazing - very classic, and timeless. I like simplicity, and the smooth uncluttered lines of the interior are always pleasing for me and passengers. Drives really great and it's so reliable. I have 27,000 miles and have only had to service the car once! The car tells you exactly when (date and mileage) and what to service.
Great Car
Very happy with this purchase. Ride is great. Lots of nice features. Just took it on a 1000mi trip and it was by far the most comfortable road trip I've ever taken. Handles corners comfortably at least 15 mph faster than my previous car.
Perfect 10.. well almost
Man my dad was mad when I bought this one but I was ecstatic as was everybody else who got the first ride in this beauty. I got nlack with black leather, navigation system, premium package, Satellite radio so this has a lot of bells and whistles. Well I am shallow. I have had this car for 13 months now and boy have I been happy. Just sitting in it makes me smile. Driving it gives me a rush like I am on top of the world.
Great Car!!
This is one of the best cars I owned, it runs smoothly on highways, good performance on bad roads also (I live in Costa Rica) it feels very compact and very stable on sharp turns.
Awesome
The car is just awesome. It drives like a champ. The Auto DS mode always shifts right. You gotta have the sport and premium package. The bluetooth is really useful. It's very simple... it connects with you!
It's the little things
This is my second BMW. This car handles and looks great. Great A/C and radio. I am a little disappointed in some interior quality issues.
Sensational car
Have almost 10000 miles on it now and it still smells like new, handles like a charm, goes like a rocket. Bmw really hit it on the nail this time around and will be rewared. I drive it to work every day and get looks and comments."nice ride" How do you like that fighting machine" I plan to hold on to this baby for a long time!
Highly Recommended
It's only been a week since I picked up my car and everytime i drive the more i like it. It's still not completely broken in so I'm not really pushing it to the limits yet. Waited three months to decide which car to get. Looking back now I can't believe I wasted so much time. This car is the one and only. If any of you are worried about getting problems with runflats, I suggest buying one from tirerack and when you get a flat just take to a regular tire place and change it there. Because most places don't stock runflats for this car.
BMW 330 xi
Very Nice Riding Car. Has Great Power When Needed. My first BMW, gives you a great high when driving it.
The Ultimate Car
The car is fun to drive. I have the 2006 325I with sports package, premium package, Navigation, Xenon, and 6 speed Manual. The car is smooth through all gears and handles excellent. Idrive is excellent. It takes the edge off of any trip. The lighting is excellent and seats fit perfectly. This is the best car I ever drove. The cabin is very quiet at 100 MPH, and i had the car up to 135 MPH in the desert and it was solid. This car was built for the autostrada...
BMW Does it Again!!!
Its been awhile since I have been behind the wheel of a BMW and the changes that have been made to the 325i since then have been dramatic. Honestly for the price, I don't see how anyone could honestly find fault. It clearly blows all comparable eqipping luxury mid-size sedans out the water (i.e. Audi A4 or Mercedes C Class). The fact that all maintenance is covered for 4 years/50,000 miles doesn't hurt either! Happy driving!!!!
6-month review
I've had this car for about 6 months and I still get excited to get in and drive as I did the first day I got it. Excellent car. Compared to the vehicles I had before (Honda, Toyota, VW Passat, Golf, Mazda), this is a completely different feel. I would definitely recommend it to everyone. Absolutely no issues after 6 months. If you're so concerned about the tires, get the replacement plan.
Yes, I'd buy another one
Fuel economy exceeded my expectations. 35+ on highway. 19 in the city. Plenty of pep.
Yes, it is the Ultimate Driving Machine!
The ride is very smooth and the car handles very well. I love the way the car just takes off! The lumbar seats are a must, which I should have gotten. Awkwardly situated cup holders, but overall - I love this car!!
BMW 2006 325i, "the best all around car"
BMW 325i is a great fun to drive car that has plenty of power, economy amd safety. The BMW full Maintenance plan is excellent and really aids in making the car a great pleasure to drive.
Small problems, but good car overall
I've had my new car since May 2005, and each few weeks there are new small problems. The car came to me out of alignment, the stereo completely broke after 2 weeks, the Blue Tooth works part of the time, one cupholder broke, and there are about a dozen other small things that have broken over the 5 months that I've owned this car. It's frustrating to have to keep taking my car back to the service department when it's a new car and shouldn't have these problems. My advice? Wait until this new model gets all the kinks worked out before buying it! Great car, it just needs some reworking.
There's a reason everyone has one
Being 800 lbs lighter than the 5 series, this car has zippy speed and hugs the road tightly. I love being able to accelerate around bends and turns and not having to slow down. It provides luxury that you would only expect from BMW.
Quality for Performance
This vehicle is in true sense a driver's car. It shows its perfection during turning, braking and aggressive maneuvering. I like auto-learning transmission, rain-sensing wipers and Harmon Kardon speaker system, among many of its features.
Best in this class
Last December it was a time to return my 2006 Impreza from a lease, so I spent good month in advance to shop around for new car. Right now any new one good loaded mid size sedan will go easy up to 30k, and if it's German then you are looking around 40k. So I decided to buy 2006 certified car, had to drive 2006 C-class, A4, Jetta, etc. They all good but not impressed until I stop by at local Bimmer dealer and took 325i with premium pack for test drive. Guys I couldn't believe that car could be made so well balanced suspension/power/comfort. I just felt in love with it plus 0.9% financing for 5 years, two first payments made by BMW, and great price to clean the inventory by the end of the year.
Back To A BMW!!
It has been almost 11 years since my last BMW and this one does not disappoint. It took only a short time on the test drive to know that my wait for a new 325 was at long last over. I now have a new 2006 325i in Monaco Blue with Beige Leather. The new 3.0l 6 is a vast improvement over the previous 185hp engine. More fun to drive than ever. I find myself looking for reasons to go to the store. The new body is awesome. The sport package is worth every penny. The sport seats take comfort over the stock seats to a new level. Fit and finish are good. Drive one then drive anythig else in it's class and see why they call them The Ultimate Driving Machine!!
BMW truly is Ultimate Driving Machine
You can't beat the handling, smooth engine, technology advances, pristine styling, brute strength and refined luxury. Some cars do one or several of these things well. The BMW 3-Series has mastered them all. Where previous generations had a more pedestrian exterior - especially the coupe, which appeared to be missing the 3rd and 4th doors - the new 3 delivers aggressive styling with balance and panache. This is the best car on the road, period. You may find more technology gadgets in an Acura, less road noise in a Lexus and more power in an Aud (?) ... but no competitor comes close to delivering the complete package - from tip to tail - with so many features at or near the top of the rankings.
1st...but not my last
I was so close to buying an Audi A4... then I test drove the BMW 325i. It wasn't close. The quickness and agility of this car is amazing. When the gear shifter is in DS mode car really comes alive, well done BMW. The steering and handling is exceptional, you truly feel connected with the road. I highly recommend this car. Can't wait to get another one in 2 years.
Fun Fun FUN!!!
This is the fourth BMW I've had and I'm not disappointed at all. The performance is awesome, the MPG is amazing and its very comfortable. What sold me on the car was the bluetooth. Its so easy to use and so handy that its become my favorite feature of the car. I HIGHLY recommend this option. The only negative I can say about the car is the take off. For a smoother take off, it feels like it starts in 2nd gear making it feel a little "sluggish" when I'm at a full stop. None of my other BMWs had it and I'm not I sure I like it. Other than that BUY IT!! You will love it.
The best of the small sport sedans
BMW 325i version with limited options, automatic, luxury package is a good value and still priced higher than the rest. It is the best for driving experience especially at hwy speeds and gets 32 MPG.
Wow, a BMW!
I have always dreamed of owning one of these! I have the silver one, with black interior. I bought it less then a month ago and went back to have the permatex paint and interior done. It was around $750.00, but well worth it. It protects the paint and interior. The car sells itself. To make it a bit sportier I also had the windows tinted, Wow it looks great. This car is well worth what I paid! Go for the BMW!
The 'SPORTS' Is Gone, Replaced By Luxury
BMW's major changes to its 2006 3-Series is fascinating and yet somewhat boring as well. This is my 4th BMW in the 3-Series and while I welcome change, I find myself associating the new design and approach as similar to what Nissan did to its 'Z' cars or what Ford did to its 'Thunderbird'. Sports cars that were fun to drive became fat, boring and touted with 'luxury' instead of 'sport'. I love BMW handling and above all, BMW's intense focus on safety. My 325i 2006 came with i-Drive and the navigation system. Once I get my pilots license, I might have it mastered. Until that time, I really dislike it. Rear view side mirrors are too small and run-flat tires with no spare concern me.
Great to Drive...but ugly!!!
Great driving car, power, handling is second to none in this class. But the car is bloated looking and the rear is hideous. Interior is not up to par with a 40K plus car.
Still the best but has lost something.
This is my 3rd 330i after a 2001 and 2002. Like the others this car had the Sports & Premium packages. Extra CPO warranty and bought tire & wheel insurance. Got an automatic after having 5 speeds because of my wife and regretted it immediately. New automatics are better but still don't have that "connected" feel of a manual. The handling is even better than previous models but didn't feel as fun to drive somehow. The car has definitely gotten bigger and heavier and you feel it. Some systems have almost gotten too complicated. Would have probably kept the car if it had a manual transmission but sold it at 38,000 miles. Now thinking about getting a 135i but the styling puts me off.
First Bimmer
I just picked up my 2006 325i (Jet black exterior, blakc interior, manual, Sport package) a couple weeks ago and I am absolutely loving it. Not only is the E90 a beauty to look at, but its a beauty to drive too. I am glad I chose this over the G35 Coupe 6MT.
06 330 is the Best 3 ever!!!!!1
Ever since I bought my car last month, it has been excellent. I have owned a 03 300m, 03 325i, and 04 TL. The new 330i is by far the best car I have driven!!!! I have the premium, cold, and sport packages (sport package worth the money). For car lovers, get the manual, it is more enjoyable than the automatic. The interior and exterior designs are great. For the older generation, it might be a problem, but for me (27) it is excellent. It is about time BMW updated their look to target the younger generation! I give the 06 330 3 thumbs up!!! (If I only had an extra one).
Good performer
I had this car for a little over one year now with 12k miles. My car is a 330i with the sport package and heated seats - only the essentials as the other options are too expensive for what they really are. The most noticable features are of course the handling and overall performance - hard to beat by the competition. The interior is very sparse and doesn't have the feel of luxury. Standard seats are vinyl: easy to maintain and durable but hot in the summer and cold in the winter. I'd rather have fabric standard seats like in Europe. Run flat tires are very harsh and expensive to replace with only one choice. The rear tires have been on backorder for weeks now - totally unacceptable.
great car
Great attention to detail. Haven't found one little thing I dislike about the car yet. Fast acceleration, much roomier than older models
Best handling sedan
Details: Auto + Prem Package. No Sport Package. The 3.0L engine of the 325i is very powerful and responsive. I personally it is very enough for road driving. No need to get 330i unless you are speed freak. Acceleration is very fast and linear. It feels faster than the IS300 and G35. The solid steering with DSC make driving this car fast very easy. The suspensing is firm but somehow it can smooth out the rough road when needed. Amazing. The auto transmission is very smooth with no jerking at all. The steptronic is responsing much faster than the one in IS300 and G35. I like the E90 styling as it is more modern and the head lamp has aggressive stance.
2006 BMW 3 series still a winner
I just purchased a 2006 BMW 3 series. The car has everything but the navigation feature. The car rides like it is on rails. When I go 100 MPH on a bumpy intersate my body is unable to up and down as fast as the 3 series so it is like a rollor coster. My 2003 G35 floated like a 1980 cadilac. The 5.1 stereo is awsome. I must say the stereo EQ was in the N shape which made the sound not that good. I change the EQ to a V setting and put the base and treble setting @ 7 and it rocks. I do not know which to listen to.. the tight whine of the 3 inline 6 going though the geers or the 5.1 stereo. The stereo ROCKS if you set it up right. It has base, treble and then an EQ setting.
First 400 miles E90
E90 with manual, PP, SP, Active Steering, Sunshades, Sat Radio. Wow, this car is amazing. With the sport package, the handling is superb, predictable and sticks like glue. Surprisingly, the highway ride is still very smooth and forgiving, then again I prefer a firmer ride in general. The interior is very efficient and almost on par with Audi. The technology is stunning from the Active Steering to the Bluetooth capability to the DSC/DTC. At times, the car makes me into a better driver than I am at the limit. It exudes confidence in all aspects of driving, braking, cornering and accelerating. I truly can have a sports car experience with the convenience of a family sedan.
