Best Auto Ever
I bought this car new. I can't believe it's 15 years old... still has power, fun to drive has never missed a beat and has 219000 miles on it... only had to change a water gasket and an instrument pod... still has original shocks exhaust head lights... have knocked out a couple of fog lights down thru the years... it gets 30+ mpg on the interstate... great fun... hate to think of trying to replace it... a truly great automobile.
Love this car!
As my first BMW, I did not expect "the ultimate driving machine" from a 10 model-year old car. However, driving is a gas! Handling, accelleration, comfort, all exceeded my expectations. This car is built to last...I only wish I were!

Great Car, needs more power
I bought this vehicle on a "whim". I needed a car quickly and found this beautiful white 318i and for 1500 I couldn't refuse. Great car, very tight, great handling, love the manual transmission, and sunroof. Gas mileage is great, fill up once a week, however with current gas prices it's about 50 bucks to fill. My friends love the car, interior is PERFECT, however would have loved a bit more room. Overall great car for being 14 years old!!
many small problems
oil leaks,a/c noises-rattles,this car runs sluggish at times.handles very well.onboard computer always dispaying incorrect warnings!
Solid but quite Sluggish overall
I have owned this vehicle as second owner (bought 2 years used with 20,000km). Have only two complaints. Firstly when engine is hot (riding around for several hours in summer heat) car shakes in first gear... starts smoothly directly from 2nd at a red light with a little longer cluth action. Electrical should improve - lights out often. Funny I still like it.
wow!!
this is awesome it is the ultimate driving machine! i love this car
Best 3 Series ever made
For a vehicle that was made in the 90's. It was way ahead of its time. The innovation and clever ideas incorporated in one machine was superb. And after 20 years, it still runs as if it was only running for several years. I love my 318i. I bought it from one owner when it had 140K. Now with 230K, i only had to change the rear bearings and upgraded the shocks. Not a bad cost for nearly 100K of driving. And it still running strong. Put it next to other cars on her age. You can tell a huge difference.

Love my ride!
I am a first time owner of a souped up little BMW. I love everything about it. I get compliments all the time on my little black 325. Its comfortable, reliable, fun and down right hot! Yes it has been cared for and has many extras. I will continue to treat my BMW as if it was brand new. It may be a 1994 model, but its hot! Not even a door dent, pristine and purrs like a kitten. I would not want any other car.
Buy it if you find it
This is my third 318i and I Iove them. This car is fun to drive and as well as dependable. This car gets great gas mileage and I usually only fill up once or twice a month. If you find one of these cars pick up. They are expensive to keep up, but as long as you take care of it, it will take care of you.
1994 325i
If you love to drive and truly appreciate what that means, you can't find a better sedan for the money. The E36 chassis with a five-speed is superior to many of the sport sedans that are sold new in the US today. The car will do an honest 150, 60 in second gear, and gets 26 mpg in all around driving. I live in Wisconsin, and with snow tires it handles better than a front wheel drive car with 'average' tires. Note, a stock 325i will not perform on par with the above, my car has a Dinan chip and B&B exhaust that increase the horsepower/torque to 210/210 (a rather conservative estimate), raise the rev limit safely to 7000 rpm and eliminate the top speed governor (normally 128 mph).
Weak and sensually wanting
With an automatic, stock tires and rims this Bimmer is the ultimate pig. My Honda Accord wagon is more fun. At 90,000 miles it creaks and groans like a reluctant old door. My girlfriend does look good in it though! Not up to my expectations of a BMW,
BMW 325i
Generally the best car I've ever owned.
bmw is great
great car very realiable
Good lookin
This is a fun car! It makes people turn their heads. I just recently put new BMW factory wheels on mine to make it look newer. This car has great handling. It is very reliable and I have had no major problems. Overall it is a cool car. Electronics need some work. The car is weak when the air conditioner is on and when its cold.
My 16th birthday present
Everyone at my school loves my car. I got it from my mom after she drove it for 2 years. No problems since our ownership. This car is fun and turns lots of heads. Great gas mileage! Still looks and feels new!
Sixteenth B-day present
I have loved BMW's for all of my life. My parents bought this car for me with 130,000 miles!!! I added newer factory wheels, wood trim, cd player, and floor mats. I love this car. Everyone at my high school wants to ride in it. It is fun and very reliable. The leather is great. Looks new. No problems. Great gas mileage. Fold down rear seats. Very good handeling.
The Ultimate Driving Machine!
BMW is the best car on this planet. The design, quality and performance is uncoperable with enything else on the market. BMW is the one and only.
1994 325 i
A very solid ride with good handling and great power. Best car I have ever had.
10 years old and still a cool car!
I dreamed about this car for years. One day, I decide to buy a used one (in fact, my purse decide)! And... I still love this car. Mine has 10 years old and 190,000 km but drive better than a lot of new ones, believe me ;) Just the A/C disappointed me (It's very fragile and cost a lot to repair) and the body near the wings... watch the rust! In general, the gas mileage is very good: Around 10L/100km.
Great Car
I love to drive my BMW. I have 129,000 miles on it and it still feels like new. It does leek a small bit of oil, but when I change the oil the oil level is still up to the top.
Holds it's own: value & fun to drive!
This was my 2nd BMW, after a '85 528e with 186k which ran like a champ to the day I traded it. 325e build is good & have only replaced a fuel pump in 12 years! although I need a heater fan & a couple of lightbulbs now - still w/original battery!! It's at its peak performance at 60degrees and rain - BMW still hadn't worked out the fuel/air mix in the computer for US Southern summer driving in '94 (same problem with the old 528e). I was unwilling to chip it, although, I understand that will cure this weakness & add more fun (could I stand MORE?). I WANT a new(er) one when my daugher graduates from college in 2 yrs. Visited the BMW plant in SC and have my next dream, a Z4 picked out!
WOW!
Just bought this gem with 34k! One previous, gentle, owner. This is the nicest car I have ever had. I like it better than my brother's 04 Accord EX V6. The handling is beautiful as well as are the fit and finish. The car looks like it is brand new. I can't wait to drive it again tomorrow! At 90 mph, the car acts like it wants to go faster. Smoothe!
An excellent choice
Never will you regret buying this model of yr 1994 which was the only model that BMW did not reproduce due to driving force restrictions. You get the speed and power of a 6 cylinder!!!. A reliable car which has never put me into trouble even after I have driven about 35000 in the past 2 yrs
Very reliable car.
I know it's a cliche but this car is very nice to drive. I love the handling and the automatic transmission is very responsive. The "Manual" option is also excellent as it allow you to switch gears just like in a manual car. However, what i liked most about it is that i don't go to the shop anymore. I only had a problem with the CD changer. German engineering is always very good quality/long lasting. This car will probably last 15 years and still look good (People always think the car is 98/2000 while it's 1994). My next car will definitely be another bmw.
What a car!
This is my first BMW and it is a good introduction to the brand. I have owned other sports sedans in the past but none have had the performance with the size of engine that this car has. I feel like I am driving a v6 and often leave others at the light.
Great (but not PERFECT) little car!
I have had this little beauty for about a month now. I am so impressed! I have owned American and Japanese but decided on this partly based on reviews like these on this site. The car feels solid and I have not felt the cornering qualities like this since I sold my Miata. Remember, this is a 4 door sedan! The acceleration with this 5 speed manual is awesome! At about 4700 RPM the engine comes on like a turbo (thanks to VANOS). The shifter "clicks" into place, and the exhaust growl is intoxicating! The build quality is way more than I am used to. Everything is so tight even with close to 150K on the clock. Expensive? I work on my own. I can do anything with the online help sites!
Best Bet
This car has 150k miles, it's automatic and I get 30 mpg hwy. Everything still works, it's fast, reliable and great looking but most of all, the handling of this car exceeds everything I've ever driven. I will never own another make of automobile than BMW. New or used, BMW is your best bet for economy, resale, reliability and pleasure.
Wonderful Vehicle
I absolutely love this car. I have never had any problems with it. As long as I maintain the regualar maintainence, the car performs wonderfully. BMW is absolutely the best in it's class. I will be purchasing a new 3-series very soon!
Great Car
Runs like a top after 135000 trouble free miles. Fun to drive but a little uncomfortable on long drives. The interior has worm very well, looks like it is only a couple of years old, not 9. The exterior too - it sat out for 5 years before we got our garage and it still looks great. Only the molding around some of the windows is looking a little weathered. Great car for the money. HOpe to drive it another 9 years.
318i Solid transportation
I purchased my 1994 BMW 318i used with 135,000 miles on it. It is a solid car with the basic amenities and teutonic interior styling. The quality of the car is excellent and it is still tight as new. The gas mileage is great and it is virtually maintenance free. Only Problem I've had is the idle valve was faulty, but was easily replaced by the dealer for $400.00. The engine has no leaks and engine runs smooth and the car handles great. I have learned over the years parts are not as pricey as you would think compared to regular cars. Insurance is reasonable as well. I totally recommend a 3 series to anyone looking for a pre- owned Bimmer that is budget priced.
1994 bmw 325i dr 5speed
For its category and year is and amazing car, as long is maintain right. If you cut corners on repairs parts material etc on the e36 models might as well throw it in the trash..and your experiance with the e36 is going to be poor and your review. The inerior in my is poor, typical for a car thus year but well maintain with over 200,000 miles and it runs and performs great. New clutch stage 2 performance, everything else stock rebuild vanos plus wear and tare maintnance. Exterior in good shape clean look burgandy ruby, tinted windows .. This car pave the way for all 3 series and other manufacturers have copy the ruby color, plus the black spoiler that covers tank is a standard rear look in most late models, so apreciate your bmw e36 and enjot it.☺

My first BMW
When I first got this car, I hated it because it was a manual and I had a hard time learning. However, once I learned it I loved it, and I became a car enthusiast. I also now love bmw, although it has given me some problems.
Wonderful Car
Sorry to be cliche but it is THE ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE
