Used 2021 Audi S5 Hatchback Consumer Reviews
Perfect blend of performance & luxury
Have had the car for a month and love everything about it. Just came off of a Mercedes C43 AMG convertible which was a much harsher ride with a more high revving engine sound. The S5 is more of the V8 rumble and feels more powerful even though the numbers are similar. Handles extremely well but also absorbs the bumps nicely. The layout of the interior is perfect. Really excellent car in every way.

Great car!
I’m very pleased with the S5, traded in my Porsche Macan for the Audi. No regrets, the Macan was a great car, but the S5 is so much more fun to drive. Most people tend to buy crossovers/ SUV nowadays, but I think the driving experience in a Sportback is hard to beat.

So far so great
Writing an early review. Had my 2021 s5 for a month and am so impressed. I know this is early and will add more later but what a great car. Fit and finish are incredible. The Navarro blue paint is spectacular. Way better color to see in person. The tech takes a bit to get everything I wanted but once that is finished...so great. The acceleration is amazing. No reason to step up to the RS for an extra 20K. I disagree with Edmonds that the prestige plus is the way to go. With prestige, you get all the bells and whistles for just a little bit more. More to come...

Just the right balance
Got lucky enough to get a Prestige level with red seats, not many available in tri-state area. If you get the 20” wheels be ready to change your tires if you live in a winter environment. The gas mileage is not bad especially on highways. The ride is actually really smooth and relatively fast. I know the noise level and power train is not like the RS5 or M3, but ask yourself is $10k plus tax really worth the 100 HPs of a RS5. As for the noise level it can be altered for far less. The screen in the middle is a sore eye I always shut it off, the virtual cockpit and heads up display is far more friendly. This car allows you to have enough driving fun without getting into trouble. The back seating could be better, it’s a 5 seater but I would hate to be the middle person. The storage room is surreal especially with the seats place down. The safety features are excellent, again if you get the summer tires and you live in a snowy region be ready to change your 265/30R/20 summer tires, not worth the risk when it comes to braking or handling. At $69k msrp this car should have come with all season tires, power adjustable steering wheel, heat/ventilated seats and netting behind the front seats are unattractive. If you are in the market get the prestige trim, the heads up display and safety features alone is worth the extra bucks.
