Trim level differences
The 2023 Audi A7 is a four-door sedan with seating for up to five. The A7 is available in three trims: Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige. The standard engine is a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 (335 horsepower, 369 lb-ft of torque) called the 55 TFSI. Last year's plug-in hybrid model was dropped from the lineup for 2023. All models come with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The sportier Audi S7 and RS 7 are reviewed separately on Edmunds. Which A7 trim does Edmunds recommend?
As with last year's A7, we suggest going with the midlevel Premium Plus trim. It builds off the base Premium trim with a few extra niceties, including the optional Convenience package as standard equipment.
